I just realized that ya'll can go to the Valhalla System my home base

Easiest way to find a cave. Land, and look around for a subterranean relic.

Those relics will always be underground or in front of a cave opening.

Then you just dig straight to it with your terrain manipulator.

Try to however do so as an angle, you'll probably regret it if you try to dig straight down.

You get 5 eggs in total. Each optional milestone gives you an egg. The first egg is for a companion you can find on planets. The other 4 are former expedition rewarded companions. Those can be claimed at the QS store, but the first one not.

Polestar had a multiplayer optional milestone that I couldn't do being on Switch, so I had to wait for that one too. Singularity had one that actually blocked progress until it completed.

select the mission and use the visor to target it

even if it is too far away you can still know the direction

Tried that as well but no. Even if you do not have one in main save: Neither units nor frighter itself will be transfered - which is ok. For me was it a simple test to see in which way all achievments get transfered 🙂

If after work shift we do not have 100% will I do the same as I did yesterday: I will create a new expedition save and scan for the 3rd time 😄 Luckily did my friends do the same with me. So sooner or later will we get 100% on phase5 as well. Luckily do I have xbox and switch in case per account is it only counted once 😛

I'm in the nexus at the expedition terminus trying to create the multi-tool I want from my main save and it insists on creating a crap multi-tool from my list instead of the one I want. If I go back to my main save and kill the multi-tool it's trying to create for me will it then create the one I want?

If you play on xbox: I had also a lot crashes. I switched from quality to performance and moved a bit the blure effect - less frequent crashes since then. From 10 in a day down to maybe 1.

At the end of the expedition, additional unit or nanite rewards will be awarded based on other measures of progress, such as Sentinels killed, words learned or base parts constructed.

I saw someone mention that you should learn all possible 1-data blueprints for example since they supposedly reward a lot of nanites, but idk about any of the other categories or exact amounts

I've completed the expedition apart from the community research project in phase 5. How do I get my starborn ship out of my expedition save and into my main save? The terminal in the anomaly says complete the expedition and won't let me access it

The ship is an expedition rewards so you can claim it in as many saves as you want through the quicksilver npc to the right of that terminal

We cannot disable chat. Chat doesn’t do anything. Different people with different save files (some may be edited, some may be glitched) cause major issues for each other when we share instances via multiplayer.

In one of the expedition I was playing with multiplayer enabled. I flew to space, almost at the same time someone else came and shot the space station. Instead of targeting that dude my wanted level shot up.

Like… it makes no sense why my wanted level would rise, but it did.

In this expedition I was killing sentinel and I wanted to kill the god damn freighter to reset wanted level, but it wouldn’t budge. I had forgotten to disable multiplayer. I disabled it, everything worked smooth as butter.

I do not have a sentinal map to show the hive on Planet 5, i keep buying maps in hope to randomly get one. So anyway how do you find a hive to shut down the sentinals to be able to explore easier?

this was on reddit and may not be a great answer but
3 ways 1 - Find one by luck exploring. 2- Dismantle sentinel glass gained from picking up downed sentinel canisters they have a chance of dropping a map to pillars. 3- Defeat all waves of sentinels the nearest pillar will pop up on your HUD.

The same planet with the crashed freighter rendezvous has an ocean.

When you summon the nautilus make sure you make the radar too. Warning ahead of time you will need silver.

At this point you can’t. You have to have played that expedition but then after you do there are certain rewards you can claim on any other saves.
However they have been running a version of past expeditions towards December is each year. Usually 4 of them, with modified rewards.

Actually I’m doing the fourth set of Expedition milestones with all the sentinel-related stuff.

You won’t see me flying around in the Sentinel Interceptor though, I copied my favorite ship over from my main save and I’m keeping it.

I might take the Sentinel Interceptor over to my main save though if I like it better than the one I have….

when i end my completed omega expedition to my main save, do I have to uninstall ship and multitool tech and put it into the vender to keep it?

No. You can copy the last equipped multitool and ship to mainsave. It will come along all installed techs. So technically could you use the 8 slots from terminal for exosuite itself and bump every tech into tool and ship you would like to vary over. Caution: copy costs nanites

You can earn the nanites by scanning all the fauna on a planet and then getting the bonus

That’s how I did it to copy my main save stuff over.

I did that on a couple of planets plus earning milestone rewards

I ran into some problems the other day because my appearance is all Autophage stuff which you have to earn, and some quicksilver purchase stuff.

At first when I started the expedition it was fine, but at some point the game crashed and then reverted most of me back to stuff that you have when you start a new game.

I looked really weird.

I have been able to fix most of it although I do not have one of the Autophage appearance things or my cape (which costs QS)
