Yep as long as you did it through the anomaly all currency will go with you

Some of the rewards feel kinda backwards. You get the microprocessor blueprint for making the hyperdrive, which needs microprocessors. And you get glass for doing the pretty up your base mission, which you need alot of glass to make those as well.

So what happens when you go back to your normal save file after finishing the expedition?

After you select to "End expedition" you can select a bunch of tech packs and items to transfer to your normal save.
Also you get all your units, nanites and QS back to your normal save, plus extra units and nanites based on the overall milestone completion you have (both expedition milestones and game milestones)

Between all the flora fauna and minerals, there are almost 6p different things on the planet.

You can duplicate them if you copy them. Did that today. Step was: Ending expedition - copy from terminal - claim reward from expedition.
Nice trick: The terminal allows you to ship 8 techs only. BUT the copied multitool and ship will come with all techs it had on the expedition. Which means: You can push it to its limits and even overload it via tech if you like to bring more tech along with you.

Well, the first few went a lot faster than the final one, tbh. They took about a day to complete. This one is rather slow compared.

Most are actually tutorials on how to play the game properly. Some were very easy, this one is too. But there were some annoying ones. Not hard, but annoying.

I didn't even bother on making a farm for the plants needed for liquid explosives. It took me like 5 mins to farm the items needed for 1 😂

I was tipped off about the fungal mold and cactus and transfered some over before I started.

Yea, but the expedition is actually built so it's really easy to get them, at least if you complete milestone mostly in order

Phase 3 milestone 2 gives you the plants knowledge, so after that you can use the catalogue to gps your way to the needed plants for the liquid explosive

It's built that way so new players can find those easy 😂

Omega's designed like an extended tutorial (due to the trial). Some of the random milestones are to introduce mechanics, like crafting. Which is why it forces you to buy microprocessors early on: teaching about the galactic trade terminal.

You can just create a base around the tower computer, that way people can just teleport there and disable centinels on their own

It's a community milestone. You can't fill it to 100% yourself.

To scan in peace without Sentinels jumping you every five seconds, teleport to a base on RD5 with a pillar from the space station. You can use the terminal there to shut the Sentinels on the planet down.

You don't need to salvage the cargo for the expedition. Just interact with the crashed freighter's comm beacon.
