These corvettes are off the hook. The parts I have are pretty shitty. Don't know where to begin to look for the sick parts I see here. I seen a post earlier someone built a literal pirate ship as a corvette

What's the performance of the new corvette class in comparison to the fighter / salvage / sentinel class.
I am currently playing through the old expeditions and am wondering if it is worth it to grind a corvette or stick with my a class fighter

I could try, but I was brushing up against the part limit just as it was.

I’m not entirely sure how I’d describe it? I started with a 5x5 of habs and walkways, minus the corners. (You’ll have to find something to fill them, I used rockhopper propellers in front, for instance) In the back I replaced one of the walkways with the boarding ramp. Replace walkways with reactors of your choice, as appropriate.

From there, I put on 8 Arcadia stabilizers along the edges; it should start to resemble something round at this point. Between them on each side I put Argonaut… um, I forget the exact name, but they’re the wedge parts. Now you should have the underside half of the basic structure; for the top you mainly repeat, but instead of so many habs, I just did a 3x3 in the middle, so there wouldn’t be so many repeating textures. In between the 3x3 and the stabilizers I slotted in firebox and speedbird… forgetting the word again, but it’s the 1x2 wedge pieces.

The empty corners, again, I’d suggest rockhopper propellers to fill the gaps. In back I filled them with the thrusters, but since the Enterprise has them in a different section, I guess an extra set of propellers might work?

As far as guns and the cockpit, I don’t remember where they go on the ship, but replace parts as appropriate.

I love building the new ships, but one of the glitches I found in the new update is if you build your ship in a multiplayer session, the inside of the rooms appear three times the size they should be, even if all of the other pieces are normal size. That means when I place the interior stairs, they appear super short because the rooms are too big. And because of the rooms abnormal size, you can’t get into the cockpit or corridor rooms because those are blocked off all of the sudden!

You are required to have one of the 3 landing bays to finalize the creation a corvette, so I'm not sure how you would avoid that

The landing bay is where you enter the corvette on-foot

You cannot place starships inside of a corvette, as corvettes are just another class of starship and the landing bays are much too small for an entire starship to fit inside of

This is what the Titan-Class Landing Bay and Ambassador-Class Landing Bay look like, the Thunderbird one works differently from the other two

Well it's not possible to do that with fabricated ships, at least before 6.00
It's never been possible before that, unless something changed with this update then that is the case still
Corvettes may be a completely different story, no idea how that would work

build a ship, finish it so that you can fly it, then perss modifie at the terminal again, then delet everything, then go out. the ship is back again and you still got the parts back which you put in

and exactly because of that glitch, I think there is absolutely no way of deleting one of the korvette ships once you obtain it.
