hi guys, i'm trying to find a good guide in the search engines and no luck - how to find a crashed ship just flying over the planet and scanning? What velocity is the maximum and what flight level is ok?

I mean not using any charts, just looking

yep you can find them, but randomly on stations, they typically has a ghost like aura on them

It's best to note the Lattitude and Longitude of an important discovery, and use Communications Stations or uploaded bases as a secondary means of locating it

Usually sitting at a trade outpost with a save point next to you, and saving + reloading when 5 ships land (make sure your ship does not take up one of the landing pads)

or using glyphs to go to a known crash site

Another Blue/Cream combo. Unlike the one I found the other day, this one actually works. Still wish it wasn't blue but at least it has all 7 thrusters ignited so I guess this is something. And it's got the straight line face again that I like.

It's actually primarily a black ship
Cockpit controls are black. Just has Lime green as a secondary colour.

Mines a B. But you can grind out a A or S possibly by using a harmonic camp.

You will need to locate a System portal on Hilbert too so you can enter the glyphs. You will then be able to obtain the lime green Seraphim and the full thruster mint green/cream dragon

That's ok. The ship will always be here. With a gate down you can travel back and forwards between Hilbert now. Once you get the Atlantid hyperdrive you can get in.
