That's not too unusual, the dang things are rare. There's a reason basically half the posts in this channel are sharing the various designs and portal addresses of exotics that are easy-ish to find

unless 1st ship i find is A or S class, I dont post planet coords. The simple truth is, I might find 10 sentinel ships a day, and for the most part noone is interested in them. It would therfore be a waste of my time looking for an hour for an S class if noone is going to want it. If People are interested in them, then its up to them to go find the best class they can. This aint some Interceptor dealership, where people roll up and pick up an s class ship with no work. People should go youtube for that.

that stat screen is pretty meaningless since it accounts for whatever preinstalled tech. whether or not those are high stats for an exotic is pretty impossible to tell from just that, but also upgrades are more important anyway. if u have good upgrades then any ship is good

Can you increase technology slots for starships?

Warp around and freighters will spawn in.
Tech slots can be increased to a set maximum depended on class. S class being the most. They can be implemented with starship augments on space stations or purchased with units (increases every time it's used. Best to buy a few until it costs 30mil per slot)

With one exception, no. There might be something about higher economy systems having better chances of having S class modules, but don't quote me on that

As for that one exception? Outlaw systems only sell Illegal (X class) modules, and are the only places that do

However, in general, X class modules are an exercise in frustration. Yes, they have higher maximum stat values than even S class modules, but their minimum values are on par with C class modules

There's one exception to X class modules being questionable, and that's X class Hazard Protection modules. They grant extra resistance to all the main hazard types, instead of acting as an extra meter for a specific hazard like the normal Hazard Protection modules do

crashed ships require a lots of repairs, but if it's a S class it's worth it
If you like that ship, you can either :
1 : Scrap it for ship parts, since this ship is in the system, by waiting at the space station you can acquire more versions of it and eventually assemble an S class version with good SC slots by searching in different systems
2 : Scrap it for money
3 : Trade it as the space station for the same version but with a better class and no repairs required

Welp, if you go to Station A with a cockpit, wings and sails, you'll put an S class core inside, once assembled you will see stats and the inventory with the location of the SC slots (the purple-ish slots), by swapping the wings for exemple, you'll get some other stats and SC slots, by changing station you can do the same, so if you really want perfection, you can theoricaly get perfect SC layout for the tech you want to put here, and extremely high base stats.
Please do note that ANY A class ship with at least A class upgrade is strong enough to crush any dodgefight with NPC, even if the core stats are horribles and the SC slots are split and don't allow any synergy

Also, the game will show you insane stats, but the actual benefits might no seems as good (ex. a ship with 2k maneuvrability will feels approximatly the same as a ship with 4k maneuv, just the controls will be more sensistive and you'll be able to fly a bit faster)

No. A lot of stuff in the game is handled on a player by player basis, with things other players do only affecting you if they upload it somehow... and for the most part, that means putting down a base and uploading it

Plus, the game will "recycle" Points of Interests like crashed ship locations; not sure about the exact number, but the game keeps track of all crashed ships you run into on a save, and starts discarding the oldest entries once you visit enough sites, allowing them to be "refreshed"

trading ships was patched out a long time ago, if you try it sometimes works but it'll change the seed so stats and SC slots will change and u risk reskinning that ship or your other ships

Only fighters, haulers, explorers and solar ships can be broken down to parts. To break down to parts, go to any space station that is not outlaw. With your back to the entrance if the station, go to the back and and left of station and there is the place to disassemble the ship to units or parts.

one of my fav aspects of the game is that even if you find an S class ship you still need to work at it. I have a b class fighter that would rip this thing to shreds, i just found this one a few days ago

I have had A class that I could put to shame with my Radiant Pillar because of the tech it has making it go above the basic. The more time you put in a ship the better it will be.

Also I love learning new tech blueprints and finding tech for free. Saving nanites only to upgrade class basically

Nice Distress Beacon Explorer, that is predominitely Korvax, I don't believe I have found that exact model but I would say if you like it keep it and fix it up. If not the more tech slots and storage slots available add value for scrapping or trading. Especially tech slots.

The good thing about those ships is you usually can find all you need in yellow systems... other than higher class tech repairs but even most of them you can. It is the Cadmium stuff that you will need a hyperdrive tech for. I think it is called Cadmium Hypercore iirc

It's a known bug that's been happening since worlds update

For me it was random different interceptors appearing in my inventory while farming for an S class

probably dont try to use them, it can snowball out of control and keep giving u phantom ships and possibly even reskin your other ships. try not to select them if u can avoid it, but if it doesnt stop showing up then try trading it to an npc pilot for a ship that isnt bugged

Close, you have needlenose whereas golden vector uses what looks like alpha or omega cockpit

Cause I built that particular ship and put custom paint on. I wanted to do some testing regarding low dps and pirate freighter battles, so built a c class hauler, as haulers don't get a bonus in damage. After completing my testing, I upgraded to s class.

The Iron Vulture can be broken down to parts, and parts traded to other players, so they can fabricate their own.

You can probably trade a golden vector aswell with someone that previously unlocked the expedition reward

But they have to complete the tutorial up to the anomaly to go claim it

The closest you’ll get is the Iron Vulture cockpit and body with the circular jet wings

The iron vulture is an old expedition ship and without save editing or modding you’ll have to wait until November/December when the expedition should return

If person doesnt generally find an A or S class on 1st try, they dont usually put planetary coords, as there is 1 design per system, its usually up to people to find best class they can find if they are interested.
