I don't remember the stellar class but I remember two were T3 Gek systems. I double checked and they were definately dissonant and had a planet with dissoannce.

Ok so here is another one. It's a yellow star. T3 economy, dissonant but instead it traced a warp to a nearby system and there are no harmonies located in the current system. Here are the glyphs also if anyone is bored and wants to try to see if it is just me or not.

it shouldn't be tied to time, but rather tied to how many more crash sites you interact with on your save.

After a certain number of other ships you get from crash sites, the save file wont keep track of old ones anymore so they'll start respawning

Since you may get an NPC stealing it

Been hunting squid ships watched all the videos they do work but every time I find the location to where it should be broken down to be repaired so you can add it to your collection for free but every time I fly to the area on the planet where it is it just flies away lol 😂 I don’t know what that issue might be but is there a easier way to grab one ?

also do u have multiplayer on? if so id probably turn that off and reload game. each inhabited system has 1 exotic design, 1/20 systems have a squid, and chance of exotic spawning is 1/301, so they can be hard to find but solar systems that have a squid will always have them

if u can find the closest base then reporting it and restarting might help

otherwise u could wait for exotic spawn in that system, but it might take a while

Here's a native S Class for those that like the dragonfly style. Coords are -3.31 -8.35 I placed a communication beacon and it is the only one as of now on the planet. It's in Isdoraijung galaxy. If you go to the Anomaly there should be a featured base Polestar Potions & Apothecary that will take you to the galaxy. Sorry I don't have a portal location in that galaxy.

you need to do the starbirth quest for your 1st living ship, you need a void egg

your 2nd one you need to do it again but you can buy the crashed living ships for nanites instead of doing the full quest again

You gotta make sure that you’re in the same galaxy, glyphs taken in one galaxy cannot take you to that planet if you’re in a different galaxy.
That, and make sure you input the glyphs right; it happens to me a lot 😅
But you don’t need multiplayer on to do this! I’ve been able to visit many ships and bases on singleplayer!

Why is that the base stats on the Iron Vulture's potential damage is so low but it absolutely MELTS in actual combat

I setup my infra-knife like this and it's only using 2 SC slots and the damage values are much lower than most of my other ships but in actual combat it's WAY stronger.

its pretty complicated, if I understand correctly they all give the flat 1% boost which wont change any stats on the screen, but they also have adjacency bonus with polo/artemis bobblehead, so they can increase the effectiveness of those (which will affect the displayed maneuverability stat) but adjacency bonus is confusing idk the specifics

but basically, just move them around then boost in space and check top speed, there's a number of ways you can organize them depending on if u want more speed or more maneuverability

Alright, Im about to give up but you guys are my last resource before everything has been exhausted on my end. Im having a problem when it comes to obtaining “Living Frigates”, quest has been completed for the initial living frigate with the “Dream Aerial”. Chronologically after that quest was completes I moved to the “Living Ship” hunt and it was all great.

Now when I try to find a Living Frigate again every single time I end up getting yet another Living Ship and it feels like is bugged due to not allowing the Living Frigate to trigger. I dont own any eggs, there are no eggs stored in my ships and or Frater.

Fun fact: I play console: Nintendo Switch

if u want more living frigates u gotta use anomaly detectors. u can save before using one, then pulse thru space and dont stop until it says whale song detected or whatever. might take a long time of pulsing, but dont stop for other events

or are u saying the anomaly detector is making the living ship show up?

Yes, the anomaly detector is only triggering living ships. I can pulse for hours, I can stop and use another anomaly detector and change trajectory, pulse for hours and Im only getting Living Ships. I have tried in different systems and even Galaxies but no luck.

My guess would be that it is either bugged or that you still got eggs lying around. I had the same thing happening to me and it was because I still had eggs in my freighter

Basically buy a ship with parts you like, take it to any non outlaw space station, goto back left of statiion, there will be a place to scrap ship. It will give you a choice to scrap for money or parts. Choose to scrap for parts, pick which part you want to keep

You can only pick 1 part per ship to save, so you need a minimum of 3 ships to scrap for parts to make another ship

and you can only scrap for parts, Explorers, Fighters, Haulers and Solar Ships

Look for a "Dissonance Resonator". Get up close (around 20-40u) to it, and looking at it will tell you if it will drop a Echo Locator or an Inverted Mirror when you destroy it

Mostly likely it will be the Mirror, as that's a 80% chance to the Locator's 20%

Hey flipsie! Nice to see you again. I tried out the Adlantium with the new laser config and it did do more damage with the paralyzer and voltaic but was still painfully low damage. I will never again question staff and sentinel MT supremacy.

You also for sure need to use the paralysis when you’re doing the mining laser bc you have to stun things to keep them still long enough to do damage and manage the healers, but I’ll keep the rest to the mt channel.

I recently claimed a couple of crashed ships, but they aren't appearing in my list of ships I can summon. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to resolve this? I've definitely claimed the ships: I sat in them, flew em around a little. Things I've tried: they're not in my freighter; I can't go to another planet or system to summon them; I can't switch docked ships on a station; I tried flying back to the site of the shipwreck and looking for the ships; I've tried restarting the game.

I am hunting the same model of interceptor on a dissonant planet... do I have too many of the same model of ship in my 'inventory' or something...?

I suggest going to a planet and summoning every single ship you have. You do have a limit as to how many ships you can keep (I forget the number tho, I think it’s 12-14) so it’s possible you exchanged ships by mistake

I still suggest cycling through your list and summoning them all, just to be sure. As far as I’m aware, you can’t duplicate a ship that’s not summoned, but I could be wrong

Though it costs nanits and such

that is one nice, clean white fighter right there. bonus points is the gold/yellow trim. it also has a nice lil atlas decal on the side. and if you like numbers, it's got 77 too. looked nice so had to share

I looked up the exotic ship catalog on the nms database and this on is supposed to show up with the first wave of ships in the space station or trade outpost but I have been to the station and one of the outposts so far through a total of 6 waves so far (3 each) and I am about to go find another outpost

-first wave mechanics dont apply to trade outposts
-sometimes u do need a couple reloads but if its an old post its possible its no longer guaranteed first wave spawn. also some people just get lucky once and dont verify its actually first wave and mistakenly post it as first wave, but either case, the exotic for that system should be the same so itll show up eventually (if you're in the right galaxy).

Trade center, but you can get it at any location in the system, be it trade center, space station, or crash. It was one of the first few in the first wave, but I wouldn’t guarantee it, I’m looking for something completely different and it just happened to show up on my personal quest lol

No Settlements. No multiplayer. Can't see other's bases on planets outside of the useless Community Spotlight ones (they never change like, ever) and some during Expeditions.

People say all the lush biomes are paradise planets, and I could agree except sometimes there are planets called paradise planet when you scan them, so it sure makes it seem like there's a difference.

My latest save is one that doesn't scan any paradise planets. It's weird sometimes you get a lot of them, sometimes you get none.

It guarantees a quick spawn, maybe less than 15min wait in my personal experience. You just sit in the Trade Post not the Space Post. You will see ships come and go in waves and around 3rd or 4th rotation wave you should see it arriving to visit the Trade Post. Enjoy!
