unless you need/want a very specific supercharged slot layout (assuming that this layout is available somwhere) any ship you like will do the same after being upgraded

In addition to what Thanatos says, it also depends how much work you want to put into finding a better class. Sometimes its a case of sitting in a space station or trade centre for 30min watching ships going in and out and checking them. It could also mean in regards to sentinel interceptor, spending 30+ min checking different crash sites. You have to weigh that up with the time and effort it takes for you to get nanites and how interesting or boring you find that grind.

no, because the game was designed first in single player, and running storyline missions in multiplayer more than often cause all kind of bugs and problems

it is also suggested to not hunt ships in multiplayer if you head for a specific class on specific coordinate in case someone steal it right under your nose

it plummets to 1% in a tier 2 and bare to no chance in a tier 1 economy

If the post includes long/lat coordinates then go to those coordinates. If not you can locate one in multiple ways

1. Defeat 5 waves of sentinel alert level in starship combat and destroy a sentinel dreadnought, you will get an AI fragment that can be used to locate a crashed interceptor.

2. Defeat 5 waves of corrupted sentinels or obtain an echo locator from dissonant resonators on dissonant planets, both will locate a harmonic camp, go to the camp and lift the seal by completing a simple mathematical puzzle, then select the option to locate a dissonant spike, that located an interceptor.

As long as you are in the correct system it will take you to the “same” ship, there is 1 model interception per system so all interceptor crash sites within that system will be the same ship model just SC slots, stats and class will vary

Ya long/late are only required if say the person says “S class interception with 2x2 supercharge slots” if they do claim that and don’t prove long/lat then just ask if they can provide.

Basically unless its an A class or S class, there is no point in posting coords. Any1 who hunts and catalogues ship designs, generally doesn't spend 30+ min looking for an s class on the off chance someone might like it

I think they are tied to each specific crash site, so every site will be different

the only thing that is the same for a sentinel crash (not sure for other ship types) is the upgrade super charged slot placement in the same system, initial slots will be different for every different crash sites, so if you upgrade any ships in that system, every new super charged slots will spawn in the exact same spots

And these encounters are so bugged that since I landed in the civilian freighter, the pirate fleet left, so I cant recruit anyt of them, AAAAND I also am still "tehcnically" in a freighter battle, so I can't pulse /warp away without escaping the destroyed freighter first.

got a 220 something folders setup for type sorting / colors

easy to navigate and go back there with special demands

its really easy to make a folder system, just think of what you want to priorise as distinctive elements, those will be your first folders, and use things that every ships have in commons for every sub folders in each categories, this way before putting any files inside the folders, you can copy and paste the folder tree several times (as its all the same in every category) into each folders, then you just drop the ship screenshots into them

Sentinel interceptor crash sites are in dissonant systems, to locate all you need to do is any of the following, when it comes to interceptors, there is no higher odds, the system will either have it or not.

1. Defeat 5 waves of sentinel alert level in starship combat and destroy a sentinel dreadnought, you will get an AI fragment that can be used to locate a crashed interceptor.

2. Defeat 5 waves of corrupted sentinels or obtain an echo locator from dissonant resonators on dissonant planets, both will locate a harmonic camp, go to the camp and lift the seal by completing a simple mathematical puzzle, then select the option to locate a dissonant spike, that located an interceptor.

I have a base set up to farm echo locators so I have at least two on hand if need be when exploring

I dig underneath them and shoot them from below, then camouflage with the cloaking MultiTool device (as a precaution) and book it back down the tunnel so the sentinels don’t find me lol.
It might be overkill but I ain’t risking it

But there’s probably someone far more experienced than me in this and has a proper farm; this method just works for me lol

we can point you to black and red sentinel ships a lot, but not much S class lately, you can also try to farm one using a single echo locator and keep spamming crash site from the terminal if you find a model that interest you

or, web browser for very specific S class design you like use : NMS S-Class sentinel ships and youll find thousands of results, refine as you see fit

On gift bot site, you can put in configuration of ship n colours, and get bot to search for a location. It may or may not have the exact ship but it basically brute forces the game files to find locations of ships. Only other option is to get seed via save editor, then save ship, then import it to new saves. DH is probably the person to ask about the bot or mjstral who is the creator of bot and site

More preferable is to also specify the ship type (interceptor) and key colours (orange) to make it easier if people use the search function.
