There are no fixed coordinates for spawning S class freighters, it's randomised on arrival

Best thing to do is create a save point before you jump. Then reload from that save point until an S class spawns for you. But that could take a very long time considering the chances of an S class spawning.

Not directly, you usually get coords for the model you want and then reroll for the S. Best chance to roll an S of any freighter is in Outlaw Systems, followed by T3 Economies.

once i get coordinates for a planet with a ship on it

specifically a sentinel ship how do i then locate the ship itself

For Sentinels, you'd have to either find a Harmonic Camp within that system or have an AI core (destroy a Sentinel capital ship, survive five waves of corrupted Sentinels, or do a Nexus mission) to track down a crashed fighter

Yeah i got a dreadnought ai thing and i activated it on the planet which the coordinates led me to but it just showed me the coords for some random C class in another system

Yeah I've been having that happen too, that whole other system thing. At that point I think it's just luck-of-the-draw. But honestly the B and A class interceptors already have pretty hefty stats, then it's just a matter of grinding the Nanites if you really want to upgrade

I'd say hunt the flag machines until one drops an echo locator that'll lead you to a camp and a ship on that planet.

Also, not all corrupted planets will have ships. If they're dead planets, there will be corrupted sentinels but won't be any crashed ships to claim.

Ok my intention is to not inflame this more, so please if you can take it the way its intended. We are trying to help you not complain. There is no rule to say you have to post coordinates of a crashed ship, or a sentinel S Class ship and you are free to not post coordinates for any ships you post. Our "advice" was to try to help you, as from experience, I often get pinged or direct messaged with people asking for coordinates of ships and class. Taking into account that S Class ships are the most sought after ships and you listing a S Class Interceptor find without coordinates, you would probably have been pinged or dm'd a lot by random people asking for coordinates. Posting Coordinates for a highly sought after ship just negates the need for people to ping you or dm you.

I personally only put coordinates for A-Class and S-Class interceptor finds, and If below A class, I dont even post what class I found, cause I expect if people are interested, then they go and find the best class they can.

This is why Comm Balls arnt a great way of marking a location on a planet

However, camping at a planetary trading outpost is most beneficial, because it lets you scout the ships in advance

Your field of view is not limited to 1 long ass corridor like on space stations, so if you don't see the ship you want landing soon, you can immediately reload the save

@split breach @winter obsidian I swear by a 3k Maneuverability cap, however that's the controlled flight limit for standard Pulse Engine tech. The Waveform Engine's tolerance is clearly lower, likely somewhere between 2300-2600 would be its cutoff. Interceptors you can push to 4000 at least before it starts happening.

And while 3k is my personal cap, my ideal maneuver stat is ~2300-2700

If you're looking for something that's best of all and doesn't specialize in anything I'd suggest exotic or solar.

Fighters specialize in attack, explorers specialize in hyper drive range, and haulers specialize in shields.

the shuttles have reduced cost and the new interceptors have also good stats, like exotics/solar but they can totaly stop moving even in atmosphere and have increased speed in atmosphere, so they are good for scouting planets.

Once you have the capability to fight and kill a whole wave of sentinel interceptors and stuff and fight a sentinel fraighter you can get a locater that leads you straight to the ship instead of having to do all the other stuff

That's what I was saying if you use the big stargate with the glyphs to come to that Galaxy I have a portal just outside of the stargate you can use to get to the trading post quickly it's a regular spawn there I've seen it from C Class up to A
