In normal mode you really don't need much to get away with it. Even a halfway decent C rank ship with some sodium to recharge shields mid combat can do it once you get the hang of ship combat.

I'd suggest a few hundred sodium to be safe.

Tben you just hop in your ship, shoot some sentinels while in your ship, zoom out to space and work through the waves slowly.

The freighter will take some time. I'd suggest taking out it's cannons (might even be able to get away with just the cannons on 1 side) , then the ships that came with it 1 at a time, then just kinda shoot it down, using your rocket launcher as often as possible, get some space, repeat til it's dead.

@undone granite Just 1 part per ship type, for Fighters its thruster, Explorers and Shuttles its body type, Hauler and Interceptor are cockpit, Solar is wingtips, Living is mohawk, and Exotics are a near-exception, Squids have highest potential, and gold trimmed ball models > silver trimmed. Lastly, the "tiers" arent independendent, they overlap to varying degrees, so for example a silver trimmed Exotic is min 387.5 and cannot exceed 432.5 Core Maneuver, gold trimmed models can start as low as ~395.0 and can hit 443.5, and squids land somewhere in the ~410-445.0 range

I'd recommend just starting a fight on a planet, getting to wanted level 3, going into your ship, wait until interceptors arrive, reach wave 5 and then just shoot at the mothership from above with a positron ejector

THat should not be the case. You can use the webpage to create a search command for the bot in the dedicated discord server

That will return the seed you input in save editor, that should not cost any real world money

The extra options are to search for the location of that starship, meaning the coordinates of the star system that spawns it

Been running into an issue with some systems just not spawning sent ships or harmonic bases, the ai and eco locators just take you to a different system. Planet size has varied and I'm the first person in these systems. Running around I can find the crash spot robot things but they never spawn a ship

end of day i have probably 1500 hours in this game and learnt early on to screenshot and record ships, Multitools and planets I like. You never know when you make a new save, that you might wanna browse through your ships and go get it. I just find it more satisfying finding my own ships, than going on nmsge and searching for ships

There are ways to make them spawn faster, like the method Gix uses alot, where he uses Freighter pulsing

Sometimes Its just luck as you say and its there as you are docking

If you have a strong ship already, shoot the space station to get a wanted level, then kill all the interceptors until the dreadnaught shows up at wanted level 5. Once you kill the dreadnaught you will get a chart thing that I cannot remember the name of. All of this is relatively easy with a fully upgraded ship already. Only takes me 2-3 minutes and I’m a pretty casual player. Go into the corrupted sentinel planet’s atmosphere and activate the thing you just got. It’ll send you to a damaged interceptor free but there will be a little mission you need to do to get the brain and components fixed. Good luck, hope this helps.

Was there a quiet patch in the last day or so the made it so a camp only leads to one sentinel ship? Yesterday I was able to do several off of one camp trying to get an A or S class ship and now it only sends me to an empty site since I already claimed the ship that was there.

you would need to document the galaxy, glyphs (photo mode shows them) and the coords (pop open you visor to get local coords from the top right) - also if there's more than 1 planet with corrupt sentinels in that system, include the planet name.

I'm trying to get m =y Living Ship in NMS. I'm in the final fourth phase . I was contacted by the Living Ship in Space and given coordinates to the next planet. I went there, found the Korvax terminal, got the next set of plans and then was given my final coordinates. I'm in the Euclid Galaxy and I have a hyperspace drive, and emiril drive and an indium drive. I'm told the next coordinates are in a different galaxy. I've jumped to 20 systems no and I'm still not these. In Free Look I don't see the Egg Symbol anywhere. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong here?

Could be a 1st wave or it could be 30min, an hour

Best regular way is to park your ship next to a trade post

That is not on a pad, as more npcs can land there, especially if you ain't parked on a pad

Non regular ways, you can pulse in ship in space for 8 seconds, call in freighter and some npcs spawn, 1 of these is a chance of exotic, scan ships if no exotic then pulse again. If one appears around freighter then sometimes they dock at freighter, or you can follow to station/trade post

Or during freighter battle with 5 pirate ships, an exotic is near enough guarenteed to spawn

But that of course is every 3 hours

Thats the 3 ways I get exotics

Going for a ship like this, keeping the engines on the sides, it has long thorax (the part the center engine is from), has attachment on top of thorax unlike this one, color scheme black and white/grey, no dark purple, same top wings, must have sabres on bottom, no tank landing gear.

Might not have been, but it is now. That squid showed up 10/10 reloads in wave 1, with it usually being either the first or second ship to land for me.

Yes, you have to do a little bit of work for them to get them to be ready for humanoid pilots, but they don't cost money to take. If you follow glyphs and coords, you don't even need the item to find them, you can simply go to them and begin the "repairs" necessary for them to be flight worthy.

The repairs are modifying the ship for you to take, you cannot "claim" the ship before modifying it. To modify it, you basically just do a few tasks to get parts, you don't pay anything or use anything from your inventory.

Both are items you get from taking out sentinels, one is a drop from killing a sentinel freighter, the other is from what people refer to as "Sentinel Spiders" IIRC, little pillars with legs.

Yeah, landing pads near any crashed ship -- even interceptors -- can cause an NPC to appear who then takes the ship and flies off. It's weird, but I've seen it many times first hand.

You look for a mineral hotspot, on a planet with gold in its resource list, and hope what you find is gold (and not the other resources) and S-Class for the best yield.

It can, but it's worth it. This is something you really only have to do once, at least for money, as it becomes a set it and forget it sort of thing, where you only return to the base to get more product and therefore more money, unless you're adding to the build for some reason.

That'll be the result of a core jump, it ruins everything equipped. Best to package tech, or use burner items.

Mine is a room with collection supply depots in it (1 from each set of miners), and then everything else outside, but you can build it however you want. Definitely check the FAQ stuff in #bot-spam though, as there are some "rules" to getting the most out of these things.

Depends on how many supply depots you add, and what kind of per hour yield you're getting. Usually people aim for 1000/hour per set as you get diminishing returns after that, so depends purely on # of supply depots in the chain. I like to go at least 24h worth, but usually way overbuild (I have one that outputs 500k gold on pickup).
