For an Earth-style jet, without a fin, your best bet might be vector wings

bought 60 maps, been ship farming for an S solar in a couple adjacent outlaw systems for the last two hours and came across my first exotic. Got a C class fighter that looks like a almost all white Z95 with droid on the wing with some nice neon green eyes for the droid that I kept for the looks at the first planet. While selling my current ship I happened to notice an exotic dropped into the station and paid 29 million for a royal with the rotating wings. Color isn't great but started with 27/23 for storage.

• Meet the time requirement to encounter a freighter battle (3 hours of playtime since the last encounter).

• If using glyphs, use a portal to your desired system.

• Once you are at the desired system, jump to any 4 systems.

• Set a manual save in the last of the 4 systems you jump to (optional) then jump back to the original, desired system.

• A freighter battle should trigger and you will fly towards the capital ship. Upon getting close to the freighter, in the bottom right, the game will tell you how many attackers (pirates) are present. If there are 5, proceed. If there are 8 attackers it is recommended you try a different system. Once you decide to start you have two methods you can try.

Method 1:
• Land at the space station and create a restore point by hopping out of your ship. Reload this save and immediately fly to the freighter and dock. You should see the ships spawning as you approach and the exotic will land shortly thereafter.

Method 2:
• Toggle through the friendly ships to find which one is the exotic. You will have to find the exotic by actually seeing it.

• Kill the pirate the exotic is focused on. Kill each pirate the exotic is focused on. If the exotic doesn't go after another pirate, follow it to the space station.

• Once the exotic is close to the station, land in the station. The exotic may fly a couple rounds around the station. Then whenever the exotic flies in, buy it.

• You can use reloads to search through many systems. Start this method if you nearly meet freighter battle requirements (3 hours of playtime elapsed since the last encounter and 4 jumps completed), but on the 5th jump, instead of jumping to a specific system, it can be a random one. Then at the end, go back to that restore point save and go to a different system.

There should be only 4 or 5 color variations per system. For the different ship types.
Just look around and you'll find some that you like or match close enough. And if you really like that system colors just pulse around till you get some freighters to warp in

The red negative stats go away and upgrade to become positive stats when you do enough expeditions, but the actual stats should be changed by the food you feed it. Which is unique for each ship

Hanging out now at a TP to see what passes by. Saw a couple nice white with light blue falcon solars and another solar that looks just like my orange and white one. Had an S class hopper x-wing explorer I was considering as it's my only missing class, but think I want a slave model. A really sweet looking stubby halo fighter in almost entirely all white (at least based on current light) sitting on the platform now.

This is about the closest to mono-colour possible. A seed brute forcer was used to find the seed for it.

There are limitations built into the game, primary colour can never be identical to secondary or decal1, secondary is never identical to decal1 or decal2, and decal1 never identical to decal2.

make sure you use trade outposts and not space stations, you can see more ships at a time so you can reload faster, and the ships are more varied

Yes. It seems to be more common on your starting planet from what I came across when it happened to me.

if you have a freighter and only one ship in your fleet, then ou can get 6 of the 8 spwaned ships to land inside your freighter while you scan them from outside to see if the one you like lands or not

Of course we have. On https://nms.center/ you can enter a seed and click preview. It will show the exact primary color code of the ship. If you want to analyze the entire ship, use the customizer bot with the 'show:F,SeedHere' command to see all color codes. People can use infinite show commands without any limits with the discord customizer bot.

1. Ship class doesn't matter for non-crashed ships, any of them can eventually spawn as S-class if you wait long enough.
2. In outlaw system it is better to showcase cool ships onboard freighter or at the trading post. Outlaw station's red lights deviate ship colours a lot, it's hard to tell what true colours are.

That video started playing while I was doing something else and I learned two things. Seems you can cheese the weekly freighter mission for unlimited repair modules. Using a portal at the space station will allow you to portal to any other players portals in that system even if you haven't found their outpost.

It has to be 3 hours of consecutive gameplay, so reloading might set you to a point before that 3 hour mark by a few minutes

so i thought that was overriding it somehow
