@frank wind Your save data only has room for 18 eggs, same as the maximum number of pets - eggs are not like any other item, they are basically just containers pointing to a second set of pet slots, so if you have 19 eggs ready and give away 18 of them, there is no possible way that 19th egg will be viable. When you give away an egg, the full set of pet data it was connected to is erased to free the egg slot up for use again.

Yes, and then look through all of the remaining ones to find the 2 that are no longer viable because you've cleared the data from the slots they were linked to.

Save and reload after giving away the 2 eggs, when you read the descriptions on them after reloading it'll be obvious which ones are no longer any good.

If u want robots tho those aren't super hard just go to systems that show up as no economy/conflict data and and check planets easy way to check is open up the quick menu on the ground and check whether it shows a creature pellet or an ion battery and when u find one with an ion battery congrats u found a machine world

I've tried accessing those large birds / flying animals. Can't interact with them. They don't fly low enough.
Building a sort of tower up to their height doesn't work. It's hard enough and tedious to get close enough, and then there's no prompt to interact with them.
