Sadly no, aquatic pets and some floating pets that are save edited stay glued to the ground, on a planet it would be glued to the surface and force itself to the lowest point (sorta acts like water haha) the only time they move in any way is in water, in a space station or space anomaly

I am just referring to the egg sequencer in n the space anomaly.

It allows the player to alter a pets height and weight, anatomy, colouring and personality.

When I refer to the sandworm in this instance I am referring to when the player puts any material into the anatomy (gene splitter) section of the sequencer, as any material will make that sandworm variant as long as the base expedition sandworm is used.

It was just recently an optional milestone reward for expedition 12 but originally was a main reward for expedition 4, and between that twitch drop and other rewards.

Sadly if you didn’t unlock it then you won’t have it unlocked now, only way to get it otherwise is save edit, mod or get it from another player

You can with mods or save editing. On console, someone can gift you a save edited egg as long as you have multi player. Most flying fauna (dragons, eagles, skyworms...) are fully interactable and rideable. Fish and burrowing land fauna are usually not. You can summon, but can't interact or breed them.

As for it growing, I assume you mean child - elderly, that is random so it could take any amount of time, I don’t believe you can influence this in anyway unless you look outside the game.

That one Can’t be interacted with sadly. Just mentioned it as it’s commonly referred to as minifiend while the fiend (monstrosity) is referred to as bio horror or monstrosity, my mistake haha.

Make that promise, even if a pet with a large size doesn’t affect your game it will likely affect others, that effect varies from simple freezing when summoned or crashing, if you are going to get into providing a service I would either make a disclaimer (that’s announcing the the receiver that the egg can cause an issue) or changing the name of the egg to tell the player that it can cause an issue.

Otherwise you’ll put a bad name in egg trading.

Simply put and depending on editor, if you go to add an item to your inventory, and select one an egg make sure you put the blank egg in your inventory. you apply the descriptors to the JSON in the egg.

You need the JSON of taht creature to be able to put that into the egg.

Either the save editor could do that when you make the pet, or if the pet allows you to hatch and pick up an egg you would remain the pet first then hatch the egg, this would rename the egg.

i don't know the specific elements off the top of my head but whenever you drag a material into the egg sequencer it tells you what effect it's going to have before you use it.. it's more time consuming/trial and error but you can always just sit there for a bit and try that and make yourself a list of what resources boosted helpfulness when you're finished-
or there's also this guide I found on reddit before (I believed worked when I tried it previously, I'm not sure if it can become outdated) (if this is what you used then I'm sorry lol)

I don't personally use save editor for pets specifically or JSON but the people here who use those softwares might be able to help you as well

So based on the thing I just tried, there's a bug. From what I can tell, the playfulness/helpfulness slider displays helpfulness no matter where it is on the spectrum. So if you're on the playful side, it will say decreasing for items that increase helpfulness, because it is decreasing the playfulness

It just says helpfulness either way

I fed the egg like 1.5k magnetized ferrite and it finally switched to increasing helpfulness so I guess that's where I crossed the middle

Depends which ones, to categorise them the low flyers like beetles and butterflies yes you can tame them normally. But high flyers like the birds and sandworms you would need a mod, save editor or player transfer.

Pretty sure the problem was you need some amount of creature pellets more in your inventory, even though it says you have enough when you try to build, I ran into that yesterday and the fix I heard was to just spam creature pellets in your inventory

I love my little demon puppy, Gerdy. This creature has the zoomies like they're on drugs... it's kinda funny at times. Laid their first egg a couple days before the expedition was released. I sequenced it to adjust the personality only, from playful to more helpful. Not sure what 'helpful' types are but we will find out after I finish the expedition lol

I sequenced another Gerdy egg and used some Non-toxic Mushrooms and decreased the size a smidge. The Germ is sooooo stinking cute. I didn't get a screenshot yet. Just did it last night and i'm at work atm. I'll get one tonight when I get one. I'm really happy with the coloring. Curious what sort of coloring it's offspring will have... can't wait for it to grow up lol

depends if its an actual flier or just floats, the actual fliers you can only get thro mods or eggs given by some one who does. You can also get some normal flying like creatures with the expidition pets (sandworm, and jellyfish), or tame butterflies, beetles, and floating creatures. Hope this helps
