Just for some information, regardless of if the egg was given to someone by a player that has a mod to tame or save edited it in that worm and bird with the creature ID flying_snake and flying_lizard will be interactable, when you start looking at other creatures like burrowers/plows (creatures that burrow into the ground) and that bird you have called “warlotto” they can’t be ridden by players without the mod.

Which ones are you referring? Low flyers for example those saucers, beetles, butterflies, fart fish ect can be tamed normally.

But high flying creatures like sandworms and bird/dragon looking creatures can only be tamed via a mod, they can be made a pet via a save editor and players that have one can induce and egg to give to another player.

Not impossible, can’t in vanilla but with a save editor you can make it a pet or with a mod you can. Can also be traded if a player has one as an egg.

The mod is needed only for the taming, once the creature is a companion they can be interacted with without the mod, but some creatures are uncooperative no matter how you aquire them.

Yes, helpful pets will harvest more and respond to direction more often. Playful ones basically prance around and poop but I think they're fun.

The mod just allows for you to tame the creature and in most cases will be required for you to actually interact with it, (interact meaning pat, feed, ride ect) this specific pet cannot be interacted with if you don’t have the mod, but can still be traded if one has an egg, the pet will just follow you but that’s about it.

Creatures like sandworms and those high flying birds (flying_lizard and flying_snake) require save editing or a mod but as a pet they can be interacted with.

In this specific instance without the mod you can’t interact with the pet, and most save edited/modded pets are the same and can’t be interacted with if the player doesn’t have a mod that allows you to feed, pat, ride ect only real case that they don’t need a mod is when you look at sandworms and the high flying birds.

Dream aerial only provides a LF once, the initial frigate it triggers, after that all LF are a random space event and can be triggered by anomaly detectors, the dream aerial is not used after that and does not have a function.

Anomaly detectors get them from asteroids and once you get one you can activate it and pluse drive until the prompt "whale song detected" shows

They don’t guarantee one, but you can continue to pulse and ignore all encounters until you get a whale song anomaly.

There’s also the living rocks but you can’t scan them so they don’t really count

They aren’t listed as fauna or minerals

Youre on Switch, so that means it's the Expedition Worm. It has a capped size, so will only get so big. Some SaveEdited beasties, can get pretty huge, to the point where they start slowing down the game when summoned.

You wouldn’t be able to sequence the expedition sandworm to this, this sandworm is save edited, as you can see in the image it has multiple sandworm parts mixed into the one model which can only be done with a save editor

is it possible to find a diplo like this from the old trailers back before the release? ive seen diplos but none look as good as this

apparently some updates ago the capital of the galatic hub community had diplos that looked like this but are they still around somewhere else? or did HG change some animal spawn pools and remove these

Imo getting diplo like this in vanilla is not posible. That diplo was part of scripted trailer. I never even found parts of it that could suggest that specific posible variant. The tail shape for example. The bones in in game diplo are also off. I could not find diplo without butt wide as semitruck.
