So if you want to find one yourself it might take a little hunting, but when in the galaxy map some systems have no race associated to them, if you port to one of those systems and check the planets, a planet with only 2 species will have 2 different styles of robot antelope, but again, they only show up in systems with no race, so no space station or planet buildings.

Those kind of systems aren't that rare, and are easy to spot if your ship has, I think it is the economy scanner, since you can filter by race and systems without one will show up white

I took a shot at checking this myself and didn't have luck in the first system I found, but those are the ones you can find them in. If you experiment by riding around different creatures you find you can find others to be fairly quick, though I will say the robot antelope feels the fastest from what I've riden, but give me a second and I can share the addresses of one's I've found, if you have portal glyphs
Alternatively, for something slower but flying, butterflies are a favorite of mine, and they can show up anywhere and are more on the uncommon/rare side, but make for very nice mounts. Just have to mention them, since if you're new to companions they're definitely one I would recommend trying, though literally any land creature can make exploration much easier by their ability to climb cliffs without a care.

Yes, original size effects it. Each fauna has a min and a max they can grow depending on size you get initially.

depends on how large the base size of the beetle was (basically how big the species is) and then you can max out that species size by just feeding it storm crystals (or any other size increasing material) until it stops saying "size increased" and says "inherited"

This one is a baby so it’s harder to tell, but it’s got a full dose of life support gel (88 😭) and the same dose of carbon. Color is much closer to what I want! I gotta figure out how to make it less blue and gray though

I've been having bugs with any pets like this I've gotten from other people and the size. Is it alright if I try with one of yours? I think it might have something to do with the fact that PS5 isn't even capable of being save edited, so the size always reverts back to the standard values. I could be wrong though. I also love that creature.
