I'm currently building a new base on a Monochrome Anomaly world, because the fauna and weather aren't constantly trying to kill me. It's been a bit of a process, but once I got my vault in place things got easier. Part of the process was going to planets I haven't been to in years, and taking the bases apart. This included some circuit board farms. So for the most part I've been able to avoid mining, aside from convenient stuff put in front of me, by jumping through a portal and dismantling a base when I run low on materials. Then buy as much as I can.

Since I have to do a decent bit of teleporting around, it has taken a good amount of time longer than in Normal. Not to mention the smaller bag space, but the vault and freighter make things easier. Once I have something to show, I will open it up and post coordinates, or just have people join my save. Maybe within the week.

@restive agate a quick tip .. if you craft the remembrance i highly recommend to put it in the Tech Slot from the Exosuit , because if you travel in another galaxy from the core all things will broke in your inventory except the ones from tech slots .. and will need to repair it again with a heart sun

You pretty much don't get the full range of stuff you can do until you unlock the anomaly, but it takes maybe 30 minutes? But if you wanna just fly around best bet would be creative

Keep in mind, different save files (normal/survival) wont have the same progression obv. So if you make it to the anomaly on your survival save, youd still have to do it on a normal save ( if you wanted anomaly benefits on the normal save as well)
