Make your way towards a galaxies core system, the system you jump to right before the core, but don't go through instead locate a nearby black hole and jump through, this may take you slightly away from the galactic core but that's ok. Once you've gone through the black hole make your way back to the core system and proceed to core hop, you will land 3500ly from the next galactic core

Tried it, proved to be true.

This is possibly a glitch that may be patched on later updates

When I get to the core system I just open my Galaxy map and there's usually a black hole near by, this might be because I finished the Atlas Path, if you don't see any then yeah go talk to polo
