Once you have a void egg pulse around for a bit. A ship will contact you. Interact with the ship. It will then give you a location of a living ship. It will then cost you 10k in nanits to take ownership of the living ship

look for travelers in space stations. (they glow a bit and dont look like normal aliens) talk to them twice and ask where they came from. this will bring you to a grave you can get a glyph from. after you get 2, you can use the glyph combo to get the rest. I'll DM a screenshot of it

Receiving player will then go stand by their new ship. The gifting player will trade ships with an NPC. The NPC will now appear in front of the new ship, receiving player will need to talk to the NPC and "CLAIM" ship (it will be free). Be sure to get in and out the new ship to create an auto save before quitting the game.

Make sure you're warping to the correct solar system and not some random one
The correct one is shown with the wrinkled alien egg on it

im warping to the marked system(at the end of the green line for "current mission" while starbirth is prioritized) but it keeps changing when i reach the system

might be bugged when in multiplayer?

I believe that quest (and most other quests) are best done in single player, if you're in multiplayer, it can mess up some stuff
