Hi all. Pretty new to the game and I’m wondering if there’s some sort of trade database about that shows %s for selling certain items. I’ve just managed to build an Activated Indium farm but the systems I know only want to buy with a -10% off the price. I had a +7% chlorine buyer, which was nice but I’d like to find a system I can sell my AI to the pilots. Cheers

I’ve heard that it only fluctuates the economy if you sell to stations. If you sell to pilots it doesn’t effect it. Also of note: the trading post I always sell my chlorine to has stabilised at +7% I think my first transaction was 7.7% but it now never goes lowere that 7%. 🙂

Very true point. Still, it’s good to have a good means of understanding the economy. It brings more life into the game. It was great on Elite Dangerous looking up and planning routes for trades. I guess I’m trying to replicate those feelings. 🙂

Agreed. Both good in different ways. Loved the flying in ED as it really felt like you were flying a ship and having an impact on trade routes etc sadly no 1st person shooting though. 😦

I agree, it’s great but that can also be its downfall. I’ve needed a lot of help trying to learn the game and the guys in NMS-help are amazing! I like to learn and then work things out rather than follow a list of things to do that a lot of gamers do these days.

~~generally, i encourage folks to earn their own stuff. but... some things in the game can't be earned. for instance:

• a companion egg for a sentinel quad, which was a reward from the 5th expedition, Exobiology. if you missed the 5th expedition, you won't have it.
• a companion egg for an eagle pet. some creatures in the game can't be tamed without mods; if you can't mod, you can't tame one.
  if you'd like either of these eggs because you're unable to get these on your own, lmk.~~

That being said, it's easy enough to cheat the qs system if that's what you want to do

Just land your ship in the anomaly to create an autosave, buy stuff, reload your save, and you get the items and your qs back.
Does not apply to consumables like fireworks or void eggs however.

Euclid, the starting one, is the most populated galaxy, so most of the crashed ships and farms are there. If you want to move to a different galaxy, I reccomend Eissentam, which is the first lush galaxy.

Depends, if you want to have neighbour go for euclid, go for eissentam cause i think better planets spawn more often i think? And go for the 100-200th planet if you DONT wanna have visitors

You can google a place where you can spawn one that you like, then just go to another galaxy, start the mission, and then go to the galaxy where the location of the variation you want is, restart the mission and get Is it over there.

it's the same thing as at the beginning of the mission, travel in space with an egg in your inventory, and then the ship will appear and it will give you the location of the living ship in the system you are on
