yes, but I have no idea how to make them. In your case, best option would be to make a lemon rind simple syrup, and then mix that into whatever
there is a budget thing called "crack water"
basically you take an empty gallon jug (usually milk jug) fill with a bunch of sugar and water mix well and put in freezer until it JUST starts to freeze, and drink that
staves off the feeling of missing soda, while being refreshing like water
putting that simple syrup in some water could make for a good lemony sweet drink
I"m not sure why the name came about, I think it because if you time it right, you basically crack the surface of the water

and I do an IPA glaze on it
you can use any liquid you want for flavor, but mix it in slowly bit by bit into the sugar
use the sugar to determine the amount of glaze you want

I'd lean towards some stock instead of some of the water, and perhaps gently sweating out some onions/garilc in the pot to begin with.
I often add a touch of say coconut or olive oil to my vegetable soups for a bit of richness and sheen.
Chiffonade is a nice way to add basil as a garnish.

Id lean towards some acidity, chili or some other spiciness to cut the cloying sweetness of the honey; along the lines of honey-lime, sweet chili sauce, honey mustard etc.
