Started a sort of immersive weekly radio show featuring LoFi music, SciFi ads/messages based in the No Man's Sky lore and will also be using it as a platform to share updates from the player run corners of civilized space! I'm mostly based in the Galactic Hub but am open to anyone who sees the program as a chance to talk about something they're doing!

The goal was to build something for me and friends that helped elevate the immersion of the NMS experience. The first episode/broadcast got great feedback and so I'm going to keep going with it to try creating some weekly background noise for anyone who wants it.

Sorryyy, I can’t help it. It just seems that way. Their personalities and features make it feel like June is older then Crow, and the “little” nickname makes it feel like Pilcrow is more of a younger brother in blood, or just close enough to feel like a younger brother to a caring slightly older Juniper.

I used to be strictly against tracing until a friend of mine, who studies game design, told me it's a good method of learning anatomy.
Still, it's good to learn the basics before tracing. Tracing is only a bad thing if you "mindlessly" trace instead of tracing to examine the image, and when you trace someone else's art without credit.

finished playing a one shot tonight, had an absolute blast :D heres my character zirconia at the start of the game and then at the end, they went through a lot 🥲

the red parts happened after a party member effectively shattered them and then another party member brought them back to life with the godblood of the phoenix - the stupidest stunt in the world, it killed zirconia and it also killed the final boss. they were resurrected but they came back a bit wrong!

I don't know the process that person used, but there is a bunch of fussing one has to do with prompts, and then some additional work to correct parts of the image that the ai gets wrong (depending on the ai one uses). having said that, yes, art generated that way should have been in a separate category.

I can understand the appeal of AI generated art in meme formats, but not in actual art.

I use AI generated art to make memes.

That's the only use I think it's good for.

I started with a brush but it still was too transparent so I went over it with a spatula, which not only had a very good coverage but also added some texture to the landscape. Then I used a darker pink to give more details to the textures.

OCtober day 3: Special abilities: Telepathy.

Daphne has the ability to telepathically communicate with others, such as her living ship, living frigates and even people. She can also read their minds and, although untrained, has some telekinetic abilities.

Due to me not feeling very well yesterday I had some delay in my drawing for day 3. It hasn’t become as detailed as I hoped but I tried what I could. I think I will release a coloured or better rendered version after this month.

If you’re using pencils I’d use the side of the pencil to sketch it out first that way if you mess up it’s easy to erase and you won’t leave hard lines imprinted into the paper

I had a nasty habit for years of sketching an entire picture with the tip of the pencil and then I’d mess up and leave very noticeable etchings in the paper even if I erased the lines
