I am geniunely not surprised the flight down isnt seamless

All they did was make it as simple as picking a spot on planet, select land, it transitions to cut scene and you can land anywhere you want

By keeping the planet space a seperate instance, it cut down on engine work a ton

The four main cities was a interesting bit

I was honestly shocked that we'll be able to fly/build spacecraft at all, I was expecting a Mass Effect-style ship interior and cinematic transition between any and all locations

no atmospheric flights and seamless transitions is a bit disappointing but we're still getting a lot more than I expected so I'm happy 😊

Call me crazy, but I find it morbid to draw probability arguments especially on death with no frame of reference to base it on. The life expectancy has risen .1% every year since 2017 in the US. She had a stroke this year and is recovering well. She posts almost daily on twitter. There's no reason to bet against her
