Yeah....The only way Star Citizen is going to get finished is if people stop playing it. The success or failure of the game long term depends on three metrics. Recurrent logins (new blood), persistent logins (blood flow) and purchases.

They're flush with cash so the purchase metric is floating the entire project, but their lack of progress suggests they behave like they don't even need to encourage persistent or recurrent logins.

Worse, the failure of the SC project may serve to embolden other companies with similar interests. Raise a ton of money and let the project fizzle into obsolescence until there are so few touching it that they can blame their fans fickle interests for their failures rather than their lack of progress.

Cutting their metrics before they're broke at least they have enough flush to recover and finish.

Didn't work out, since it seems to only want to act as a media host, so I put it back.

but... now File History refuses to see it.

In the game you can make satellites that have all sorts of different functions

In my opinion the most useful is the Soletta

It automatically regulates the planet’s temperature to whatever you set it to

Is how I froze the planet in the first place

If I hadn’t had it when I came back to the abandoned game it would have been a lost cause

As there would have been no way to lower the water level

Biggest upcoming issue is gonna be balancing out the pressure change whenever I disable the machines lowering the water level

Because while they each do -396 water

They also do +30 pressure

And I currently have a bunch of pressure lowering machines i’m using to keep pressure from changing with those on

But whenever I turn off the water lowerers the pressure will drop like a rock

So I really need to put my thinking cap on and figure out what i’ll need to balance it whenever the counterbalance is removed

However if push comes to shove I have an idea

Make the same number of equally effective machines that add water instead of getting rid of it

Or in other words

Get water as fast as I lose it
