I got into Overwatch 2 beta.

All it did for me was a stiff reminder on why I fucking hated Overwatch PvP. OW2 beta is Role lock 5v5 which is 1 tank, 2 dps, 2 healers. The queue for anything other than healer takes tens of minutes to get in. DPS had a timer of 40mins, Tank had a timer of 20mins. Healer had a timer of 4 mins.

You get in, the game is just a roll. tank chooses doomfist who fucking sucks as a tank, dps Always lemmings in and dies nowhere near their team, and healers get picked off from the back while the team ignores them. I played 4 games, all went about the same.

The PvE may actually be good, but Blizzard cannot balance PvP correctly if their life depended on it.

Yes and no. Yes, meaning that's coming ow2 releases. Overwatch meets l4d is what people are thinking. Right now they are releasing Overwatch 2 Beta and all you can do is 5v5 role locks. Kits are now less unique, and more generalized. Less stuns and barriers, more damage for dps. Tanks are tankier with slightly less damage And healers can do more damage and have all have a passive heal.

They are totally reworking the game with ow2 and its controversial...
