Happens all of the time. They try new things, audience laugh in their face and give feedback, they listen and work on given feedback.

Almost literally no other AAA dev studio does that.
Current trend of NFT's is changing the view and image of Ubi very quickly though, they'll definitely backtrack.

@fallow goblet Star Citizen has a lot of potential, but my problems with it are as follows
A) the game is so fucking hard to run, and incredibly unstable. Don't even think playing with an HDD, you need a solid state drive
B) there is only one system, with all events taking place inside it. I was rather disappointed to jear they only have 20 or so systems planned
C) ship travel is surprisingly intricate to handle while not using FTL travel, just like how it is in Elite, but using FTL in Star Citizen is like pulsing in NMS, basically a "point and boost and you're there" type deal
D) they have a lot of core functions that they have sloppily made just so that they exist, like the system map, however it and the other things they half-ass made are abysmal to use
