The group I was with administering a custom map made a nuke scenario that announced an area of the map was about to get nuked and then nuked that area, irradiating everything in the blast zone and adding tons of zombies to the area. Then the scenario spawned precious loot in the area to encourage server users to visit it in whatever protection they could find.
Players had about 15 mins to loot the blast zone before NPC would come in with heavy weapons in waves to clean up the area
If they were good, they could even survive long enough to take down a NPC wave and get even more loot
Though the mod NPC had ridiculously good aim
