What are ship controls like?

A bit like Elite Dangerous or Star Citizen but more simplified (no power management), 6dof, Newtonian flight model with a toggleable flight assist to allow for advanced maneuvers,
It has joystick compatibility but I use keyboard and mouse personally, k&m is surprisingly smooth in this game

X4 is a sandbox game with a fully simulated economy, every ship you encounter is produced in a shipyard
Example, miners gather ore -> ore is refined -> taken to factories and turned into components -> ships and weapons are built and sold
You can command many ships, assign fleets, build and manage modular stations that produce goods/components/ships etc.
Pretty neat stuff

our leader's best idea was splitting the ingame clan into two. A large casual clan for new players and folks taking breaks, and a smaller tryhard clan when people feel like competing
that way we're not penalized by the "average score of every member" scoring on clan operations, without denying or kicking members
