I finished them all. Never touched the legendary edition. Ultimately the development cycle for ME has always been one with a lot of experimentation, leaving people loving change and hating it at the same time. I can't fault them for wanting to try new things. They aren't all going to be homeruns, but I consider any one that calls any one game in the series in some way objectively bad, a little hyperbolic and less a fan.

And don't get Star Citizen, it isn't a game it's a tech demo.
Odyssey is not really worth getting at the moment either, due to the amount of bugs, performance issues, etc.

Destiny has the usual good first person Bungie gunplay against smaller numbers of slightly complex AI enemies, but suffers from trying to force competitive PvP, and aggressive monetization choices.
It also locks players into a single class, with something like six subclasses to toggle between. The loot system is highly randomized, with weapons having a limited amount of choices beyond what they drop with.
Warframe is a PVE horde shooter with an emphasis on mobility and fast action.
The monetization is aimed at being fairer, and the devs have a habit of rebalancing any purchasable mechanic that becomes overcentralizing. The currency is tradeable to other players, and almost all weapons are always identical, with the variation coming from looted upgrades that don't get consumed.
I like Warframe better, for a bunch of reasons.
For one thing, they already got over the mistake of locking major plot moments behind single-season events
