I have a feeling once I am finished the story for The Ascent, I'm going to wish there was more to it. The combat is fun. The powers are fun. The story is not horrible. I can forgive the controls being a little wonky now and then due to camera angles changing...other than that...I'm having a blast

I suspect they could've done a whole lot better just keeping the camera angle locked and making things that get in the cameras way transparent, a'la "Project Zomboid"

or something along the line of a necklace style pods

I have to laugh. Youtubers bitching that 95% of the people that watch their content aren't and/or don't subscribe to it. There's a very simple reason for that. They don't want to. I mean, if ya gotta abuse the youtube algorithm with clickbait bullshit to get views and your content does not warrant a subscription, you're really only dragging down the entire algorithm for the real diamonds in there.

That's like a beggar with a mercedes bitching they don't have a lexus.

Bit less of a issue for streamers

The search functions dont filter out a streamer entirely.

With youtube unless you have a established veiwership your chances of being seen are pretty slim without some pretty skeezy tactics

So getting to the point you have subs, requires some skeeze

Thats why I never really recommend newcomers who stream starting out on Youtube.

Just start on twitch then lead them to youtube directly. Which jumpstarts the entire youtube process

Of course you always have the option of latching onto a established streamer and having them filter you some viewers like I did

Good luck with that though.
