Not a coincidence they're using the word Hextech with the way the story is being released

So the idea was to gather supplies, build a town to restore the world bit by bit, & defend it against strange creatures from the void in the process

DS1 just left a bad taste in my mouth due to how easy trolling apparently was

Invaders with armor they could barely move in, using lightning buffed swords to ohko my hollow armor new character

Couldn't kill the stupid things with ten backstabs

3 was better tuned, from what I've heard.

Faster

MH lets you jump back into a hunt very quickly after failing.
Although World's biggest failing was making that part extremely slow

Learning to make the clunky controls dance is just as satisfying in MH as in DS, although the weapon types are much fewer/deeper

There are few things I've done in gaming that match the feeling of dodging through attacks without evade skills

Yeah from what i’ve heard and personally experienced DS3 pvp is probably better

But the fights that aren’t just trying to go for each other’s wonky-ass backstab hitbox, the fights are rather fun.

Tyranny - a situation in which someone or something controls how you are able to live, in an unfair way.

I don't think this applies to either of them things. There are better ways to protest something that aren't throwing around big fancy words that you don't fully understand.
To add, I think it's a dumb idea but I'm getting a ton of entertainment from folk getting super butthurt over this that it's kinda balancing out my view.

What it looks like to me, is they've tried to use the original models and textures in some parts, upscaled. This works for modern stuff, but in the CRT era games could exploit interlacing/blurring. So e.g. the dudes crazy eyes would have been blurred into their sockets, and the facial hair would have looked less stuck on.
