Walking is faster in Riders Republic because there's less deep snow, other than that its about the same. Switching between on-foot to bike/snowboard etc. is much smoother in RR. It will feel very slow in both compared to riding

In games of competition, generally speaking - Nobody "gets gud" without practice. You can play ranked or unranked, but if you want to learn how to be properly good, unranked is not going to teach you more than the controls for the game.

Cliche maybe. I just think if someone's a skilled player and can not adapt to unskilled players to push the envelope, their skills are useless.

Plus, adapting usually makes the unskilled player much better

Looking at netflix..One show I never got into "Stranger things". I'm sure it's not HORRIBLE...and it's right in my wheelhouse of interests in a show, but that first season, I really did not like the way it ended. I found the writing so predictable as to be tired. Then it left gaping cliff hangers. Cliff hangers are either subtle to incredible inspirational effect or obnoxious like a fart in an elevator full of everyone guessing who...Stranger Things was a fart in an elevator.

I was surprised to see TheOddOnes cancelled Tree of Life on steam. Was curious, because the game was Early Access when I purchased it. I talked to a mod for the community discord about the situation. Apparently the team making the game fell apart.

They opted instead of trying to piece together the sabotage of what was left of ToL, they'd start over with Oddria.

With a new team, allegedly more focused

Way I see it...They took my money for ToL and I can't get a refund for a game they never finished, but then...That's Early Access for you. Shit happens. I certainly won't be purchasing any EA for Oddria, at this point.

If I ever purchase Oddria, mind you.
