Well i had a rx 470, rx vega 56, and rx 5700. Couldn’t touch ray tracing but i had it playable across the board. It was only the rx 470 that i had to make major sacrifices for it to be even remotely playable.

Tbh i think i killed my vega 56 with cp2077. That card ran notoriously hot.

But ultimately a contract with the publisher/distributor caused the most unforgettable damages that is now a permanent strike against their reputation.

With nms it was sony that told them that there be no more delays. There is no evidence of it happening but if i have to guess it was Microsoft that had to push them to not delay it any further. Thanks to this now its totally okay to push out master copies to have pressed en masses and then delay the product again for a major day 1 patch. Games are never finished development. Last system that followed strict end of development was wii. No longer do we get a finished product at launch, just a half baked title that gets polished up after being on the market for 1-2 years turning us the consumers into the quality assistance team. This in theory only works in the right circumstances in which here it backfired.

they clearly stated ship interiors "are not coming at launch" or at all. Their argument is that the players will become tired of running through their ships and etc (lazy excuse to skip a highly requested feature)

They understand that the community wants it though, but it's a massive task especially for the engine the game is on.

I'm getting above 60 fps on ultra+ in space and planetside and I'm a little everywhere on their minimum specs requirements

30 at planetary settlements, 25 in combat zones and 30 to 40 in concourses

You can make money in Odyssey and have fun. That I can't say about Horizons, except for space combat - which you pretty much have to go into the engineer grind to do and it'll take months

Everything you can do in Horizons is just so barebone. I like to refer to it as sandpaper-to-the-brain gameplay

When I come to think of it, the only bug I have encountered in odyssey myself is a visual one. Paint jobs for ships not looking like how they did in horizons. For instance the white paint job for the Phantom is grey in odyssey
