fwiw my reaction was to highlighting of the first game's remaster. I'm not even particularly a fan but I think the ease with which folks deride the original versions of media is disappointing.
That said, ignoring the flaws & treating the original as flawless isn't any better. I hold this position across games, so ME1 isn't an exception, so much as me trying to be consistent in my view.

Not sure. Probably. I don't see one with a decent GPU. I do see overpriced rigs in a market where you can get a full sized tower with more power for less than it costs to get a Canyon

Tested the AMD FSR and with my 5700xt, definitely interesting!
I did a bunch of fiddling, I know Im not supposed to.
So the sharpening pass can definitely be improved with some tweaks , seems just like Nvidia, you can adjust the settings in the driver files, for additional passes. The trick is making it cleaner but still faster.
Found the sweet spot on mine. Looks close to reference and about 30 percent boost . So Id say, damned well done. A good foundation
Hrmm, although, I really cant think of any games Id want it attached to right now. Besides maybe valheim
