As for the game itself, thing starting it on oldschool was a mistake, but overall it's a very smooth and good feeling doom-like.

Guns have great feeling to em, movement's slick, visuals are great.

One problem I tend to have personally is there's often hard to tell where enemies are shooting at you from, and on oldschool it takes like 3 or 4 hits currently to down you. THROUGH your shields.

logged in to warframe to do the newest quest and see how bad the changes to the modding system for the Railjack were, it's a bit jarring after getting used to the old modding system. the new quest was dumb and pointless and all the promo material was much more engaging than the actual quest itself. Was left with a vague explanation of the new warframe and a blueprint to grind the parts for, but nothing told me where I'd have to grind out the remaining parts for it. As a veteran player, I already know where it will most likely drop (the new corpus nodes in the railjack nodes) but I can see it being very confusing for newer players. It's not enough to draw me back in fully, but I am glad to see they are doing something to attempt to improve the Railjack experience, even if it means cluttering it with basic objectives normally seen outside of the mode. It was getting pretty stale before this, literally 20-ish mission nodes with the same exact mission objective, just bigger enemies and the occasional side objective.

I've been playing an unhealthy amount of Project Zomboid lately.

It feels like real life, having to shelter away from the mobs of roaming zeds in my sheltered fort

You peek out the window and see one wandering by. A part of you just wants to knife them so they don't eventually make their way to one of your windows.

If they don't hear you, they'll eventually smell you....You just know it.

I started watching Army of the Dead on netflix. I couldn't get more than 30 mins in. It's boring.

What little platform they had for a story was wasted in trying to over-sensationalize the zombies, making it virtually impossible for a viewer to appreciate their individual interests or connect with any of them.

I found myself even inside of that first 30 mins feeling more empathy for the zombies.
