yeah the combat always looked really bad to me honestly, didn't want to judge too early but multiple reviews saying it has no weight is exactly what I was worried about

Personally? I enjoy it, however, I also enjoy Zen games as one reviewer put it. Emptiness isnt something I loathe. The game is to empty Id say for .. most players.

Arts fantastic

environments need work, empty in some places.

Combat is enjoyable, but

Now another game I also tried last night for the first time is Deep Rock Galactic. Im hooked

The community is helpful, funny and nice.

Another game I played this weekend, Osiris New dawn. Its getting to the point I actually enjoy it. Clearly the new devs have been working their asses off.

always seemed like a good looking game from the times I've seen people play it

I like the environmental aspects.

Methane rains, winds, needing to find shelter, food, h20 on a non earth but habitable class moon is fun

I ended up killing rock crabs and making a hut

I have a very basic shelter with bone walls.

its a mix of modern meets primitive

Either way, I dont see putting a huge amount of time into it just yet

The fundamental physics works. You can use a bug to walk on asteroids

Id imagine they would need to establish locked points around a planet, like a moon, you can build in. A set zone of buildable space.

Seriously, that studio being taken over was the best thing ever

The sheer level of polish being shown off recently is mind boggling

Colony building, large scale in space construction, space station vab, colony vab

Get in a plane, fly around explore a world, colonize , mine, have babies

Colonies are .. ok, thats a bit complex to explain. They are basically you land a unit, people come to it as you achieve goals and build up

Eventually you leave the solar system

So tech is projected to maybe 2190

When you see the scale of some of the ships, its mind blowing

OH OH!, One thing i caught recently is you can build seperate assemblies in parallel now

So you can have a module and attach it to another vessel in the same vab

that will cut thousands of hours of work out of processes for me

I cant see putting any less then 20k into the game
