I watched Pikachu pet detective yesterday. It wasn't horrible.

I have no appreciation for the subject matter, but the acting was okay...A little gimmicky with the female co-star's constant overacting.

The main actor in the story was good and the voice acting was good. The animations were solid and the humor was on point.

I enjoyed the little plot twists now and then.

Tbh I’ve met some hardcore defenders of Eternal, but they mostly seem to be elitist because they somehow enjoy the game but I can’t keep up with its reliance on using glory kills and constantly having to switch weapons to deal with the onslaught of various enemies in a single room.

I don’t like the feeling of not having control, and having to watch the same glory kill animation every few seconds just because my ammo ran dry even quicker is pretty annoying. Just lemme shoot stuff!

I cant really agree with Mumbles opinion on Empyrion. The progression is fairly normal. You build a base to survive, build ships and vehicles to build bigger ships and vehicles so you can eventually kill the baddies main base.

Outer worlds had a lot of consumables but I like how they made them more or less abstracted by the inhaler. You didn't have to slot in individual buffs to take them, you could just load what you wanted into the inhaler and whenever you healed it'd be there

Also the layered clothing options are wildly inconsistent

There isn't a top/bottom/accessory, oh no.
It's base layer/outerwear/body "paint"/accessories

Some outerwear is coats. Some outerwear is cloaks. Some is capes. Some is skirts.

And you get one item per slot, so mixing outfits gets weird

Body "paint" is especially weird.
Tattoos? Sure. Skin effects? Yeah. Leggings? Stretching things, there. Shirt and pants? Ok...?
