one disappointment is that ships aren't satisfyingly specialized, for the most part.

best of all you can store ships in it, and fleet carriers has the ability to jump 500 LY range farther

but it's not simple as NMS freigther warping

Fleet carriers warp drive takes 15 minutes to close landing pads and then prepare the warp drive lol

The thing is planets aren't that exciting yet in ED to begin with

They're all dead rocky ones and because its "realistic" they're very samey

They also have the biggest hurdle yet to come; which is water and flora and even worse: fauna.

retreating early retains 60% resources while dying retains 30%
