Lyrics:
The young stale memories of, play the role to your part
Librarian, find me the pole, the one that kicks your head in
To my own time, roll your own innocence by
Grab on to my sleeve, the one that grabs ...

indeed
So uh, Saul from Breaking Bad is in a John Wick style movie absolutely wrecking people like a badass
https://youtu.be/zdZ5O6SwXEc
Bob Odenkirk goes full John Wick as "nobody", Hutch Mansell, in the last action thrill ride from Ilya Naishuller and Derek Kolstad. Never underestimate a nobody.
Nobody comes out in theaters only February 26
It’ll take me a bit to figure out my top 5 games of all time lol.
Made by the John Wick producer and directed by the Hardcore Henry director
I’ll do it in a tweet 🙂
Aww comments are wholesome
My Top 5 Games of All Time
Legend of Zelda : Link’s Awakening
Burnout 3: Takedown
Earth Defense Force 4.1
Kirby Superstar
Okami
Boom
Don't think I've seen Burnout in a top 5 before, good choice though
WE ARE THE LAZY GENERATION
tbh I enjoyed Burnout 3 the most because the sense of speed pairs up nicely with the constant threat of crashing into traffic.
Revenge kinda went against that with ‘traffic checking’ which eliminated a lot of the danger.
Don't think I played Revenge but did play quite a bit of 3
Revenge is 😍
I think I’ll hook up my ps2 later haha
Revenge HD is blessedly backwards compatible 🙏
Wish I still had my ps2 but my little bro the prick sold it
They definitely scuffed the crash mode lol
Ffffu
I have had that experience too 😭
Sister stole my DS and games and sold them to a GameStop
I visited the nearest one to my place and found my save files on one of the games there
I'm fuckin dying, best review of Cyberpunk ever 🤣🤣🤣
I was mostly pissed because among that collection was a flash card that they ended up apparently tossing because it wasn’t tradeable
I remember getting the ps2 for Christmas and made it one the most memorable Christmas' ever

Shed a tear 'cause I'm miss...
had no idea this was released in July
Yee
I got so many people with it on the cp2077 discord XD
LMFAOOOOOO
Wonder how many on reddit I can get..
troollllll
I posted it in r/gaming..now we wait
I get to go play CP77 in 1.5 hours 😎
you’ll just get downvoted
Yeah true but I hope to get comments. Wish I could find out how many clicked it. Probably all the downvotes
ha
That article is the best explanation for everything that's happening with the game I've ever seen, hot damn
Thought it was only in dev for like 4 years and 3 years of planning?
It got announced 8 years ago, the first trailer was 7 years ago
stupid of them
This is a repost from #401847751249362945 you useless fucking prick.
how dare you talk to my friend like that smh
Smaller pic, lol
imagine an article that says "any critique of the game is met with adversity because its a personal attack" while simultaneously saying that if you don't just hate on the game and give it praise you're a pre-order corporate shill
what amazing insight
almost like everyones the fucking same
I mean, they critiqued it last week and have been getting non-stop attacked since. Same with the GameSpot reviewer and, well, most reviewers who have critiqued it
Im just glad I enjoyed the game. For me, I can completely understand the critical response by those who cant fricking play it
doesnt mirror my state of the game, but man, some of the shit the console player have to deal with is ludicrous
The series S however runs it quite well at a locked 30fps with the quality mode equivalent to the series X
i haven't seen og xbox' performance but i imagine it's terrible, the ps4 could only achieve an average of 15 - 25 fps at best
if not lower
will be interesting to see what the next gen update offers for consoles
I imagine they will figure out how to run it better.
The whole need to release at the same time for all systems was idiotic
So many games, going back to the beginning of modern gaming had multiple release days
but it was the same for other games at the end of a generation, take GTA for example, looked and ran like crap on 360/ps3
Yup
I mean fundamentally they shouldnt have released it for ps4
It wasnt a viable option
The generational divide was to great
it's night n day difference between PC and consoles
could they have delayed it longer? probably should have but then still received hate
which still dropped by nearly 1/3rd
I don't get why it had to be released at the same time for all systems. Other games have done staggered release and it turned out okay
It was... OK, didn't finish it though
Learn why people tend to reactively treat their weirdness as a dangerous liability. Be yourself. Your weird, never loving, ever loving pressure cooking green beans - self.
Dude I love Jim
I love videos like that
Its sorta weird, but im struggling with something like that right now.
Normally when I move, I freak out, yet, right now, I am nothing but relieved
Yet, because Im relieved my subconscience is saying im being bad
Lol
Its like, the fuck brain, no your wrong
It feels good to be wrong sometimes. When your conscience can tell your subconscience for once to just be at peace
Mm
not sure who this applies to here exactly but https://brickadia.com/blog/ui-roundup-the-road-of-only-roadblocks-comes-to-an-end/
brickadia's alpha 5.0 is coming very soon
Well, now that Bioshock 2 and Minerva’s Den completed, and now I have all the main story based Bioshock content done
Time for Infinite?
I’ve already done Infinite and Burial at Sea
i miss when you basically had entirely different "versions" of the same game on different platforms because they had different dev teams making each "version" and the publishers didn't seem to care to coordinate them, lol
I think I just played Haven for 5 hours straight, lol
That was a first. Recently updated graphics card driver. Game crashed to desktop with a GPU driver error.
Leo, we agree
One of the achievements in Cyberpunk 2077: "Kill or incapacitate an enemy who threw a grenade at you. 14% of players have it
how is that possible... its not like grenades are all that rare from enemies...
there must be more to that
its probably killing them with the grenade they threw or something; it can't be phrased right
Hmm I think I have that one.
then again only 66% of people who own NMS on steam actually played the game
its kinda cool to see at what point people drop a game
only 25% people finished the game, hmm
I haven't! Not since the new content lol
i haven't gotten the finish achievement lol
but i also have 600 hours
i do have some rare XCOM ones
its super fun imo; very stressful at times
then there's this garbage
i don't think i could EVER do that
Hmm, I mate have to try it. I have so many games from like humble bundle that I haven't played
tbh when you consider that bases weren't even there at release, that's kind of a decent figure?
oh shit yeah
I forgot about that
yeah so those were probably day 1 players who then never touched the game again
i kind of have to avert my viewing of achievements; sometimes they start making me have a completionist itch and some achievements are just there to make you hate the game, i think
I never aim for achievements unless there's actual reward
that's where it gets even worse to me, lol
'cause then it's like oshit i missed this thing that might be cool to have/get
xcom2 doesn't have a demo, does it?
it does not as far as im aware
I can't remember if I've tried it since I got a new GPU. I'm pretty sure that's what kept me from getting it initially
I mean, System Shock's completion rate is 3.8%
Wowzee, I can upload pictures now!
so performance was only a launch issue they patched that quite early
right, but even besides that, I was fairly behind min req GPU stuff
Completing the game on max difficulty is below 1%
well a lot of people also hate the game because it can say 95% chance to hit and you miss
in the meantime i really should just try to make my way through XCOM1 👀
I'm personally not the greatest fan of turn-based combat in particular
it can just go so bad so fast i love it
I've tried to play classic Fallout games, but it was torture for me, especially because of isometric view
i thought it didn't spoiler that but i forgot i can see all spoilers all the time lel
ironman is the worst on XCOM because if you fuck up and know it there's literally nothing you can do but watch all your people die horribly 😛
and then try to scrounge up the campaign from those ashes
also cool remixes!! https://youtu.be/dbftQpzIyUk
Taken from the new soundtrack option inspired by UFO Defence, included with the Tactical Legacy Pack DLC for XCOM 2.
Support the makers of this soundtrack here: https://2kgamesmusic.bandcamp.com/
it had full modding support from day 1 as well
just don't do what i did and mod yourself into an impossible game
i had a mission that broke and sent endless waves of Advent soldiers at me as i tried to escape a prison
and had to watch all my beloved custom characters slowly get gunned down :c
bionic dues has some of that fuckup & try to recover stuff going for it too
a bit more reliable combat tho, both for better & worse
if you can't tell XCOM2 is one of my all time favorite games
i still haven't beat War of the Chosen
the Chosen tend to kick my ass
@full pivot Where are you going for those convenient rarity measurements?
so go to steam achievements for a game
click on "global achievement"
it'll display the percentage of all players that get them
on XCOM2 you start
to
some of those are probably not played
but actually winning the game with conventional gear is ridiculous
and also winning by July is ridiculous
Not a fan of turn based combat unless it's an rpg, even then I ended up liking live action combat like the Tales series, but I do like turn based strategy where you're managing entire armies, territories, etc. (Lord of the Realms 2 and Endless Space 2 both come to mind) Turn based squad tactics isn't exciting to me, just a slow fight lol.
Sweet. Someone made a mod for Cyberpunk to walk.
It apparently has a cruise control for driving, too
Which is nice.
mods for Cyberpunk are going to be so wild 😄
i imagine there will be one to able to fly something
I like these basic quality of life mods
At this point I have spent the last 4 hours just mugging random clusters of enemy gangs lol
single tap dodge instead of double tap. Just hit Control, hold alt to walk, press E to interact instead of F, etc
i do find myself just wondering the streets, there's just so much to take in
One of my favorites is still just this one tyger woman that stepped off the curb into the road
splat
I like to drive around and listen to the happening.
dodge?
i was watching a linus video and as he was randomly wondering about a body dropped of a building right in front of him
it was hilarious
If you double tap any direction, it dodges. This mod I found changes that to direction+ctrl to dodge
that's not a bad idea mumbles as i've nearly doubled tapped (dodge) of a building 😄
I honestly can't imagine how to do a headshot on a controller as fast as a mouse.
You probably cant but I usually just pump 12 or so shots at the upper torso in general, you're bound to get occasional headshots
I'm monitoring my system performance and thermals while running the game. Presummably, due to its need for further optimization, the game is burning out GPUs
That said there seem to be a lot of upgrades n stuff that enable way more interesting abilities, like I just picked up an attachment that does some kind or shot curving effect. Apparently Ill need to find a ripper to put it in
ricochet?
I have sincere doubts that this game is "burning out GPU's"
and no, bending shots it looked like
as in, curving midair
likely due to poor air circulation
GPU's dont just fry because of a heavy game.
We've heard this before with every other new heavy game
yep
it's good to see a game push the limits instead of drawing back because of console limitations
Don't let your card roast and it will be fine
One problem with the RX 5700XT I'm finding is that it can run a lot hotter and have no issues than the CPU
5700 is designed to run pretty hot
So I need to ramp up the air controls to vent it
I'm floored by how much actual control they give you in terms of graphical fidelity
and you don't have to restart the game for them
my basic-ass 1070 with mid/high settings is running fine, no slowdowns, not even checking temps
ye it's quite impressive how quickly you can change graphical settings
I had a game crash earlier. My gpu driver crashed. Not sure what happened there.
drivers all updated?
yep
I sent a bug report to AMD just to help improve future updates.
Had to laugh though...the report was like..."How do we repeat this?"
and I'm like..."I didn't do it on purpose"
Stealing Ferraris from hostile gangs. What could go wrong
Just ran some thermal bench marks on med-high in CP. Seems alright.
GPU runs max 80, CPU runs max 80
both under heavy load.
Though, I shut down the game and an error popped up.
"Cyberpunk has flatlined"
lol
i must be lucky so far because i've had no major issues/crashes yet
just visual bugs
and all this while streaming as well
a streamer I was watching on release day said that out loud and I couldn't stop giggling.
I saw this woodpecker going at this tree and I couldn't believe how big it was getting .there was a big pile of woodchips at the bottom of the tree,he must have been pecking for a long time.

Hey everyone! This is the biggest personal project I have ever done and I'm really proud of the outcome. There were days I would not work on this project for weeks due to lack of motivation, and there were days I would work my ass off all day and nig...
So is this
Is it just me or does cp2077 get better as you go
NMS needs better weapon animations, like these are so much cooler, from ED
gets a lot better, especially when you meet ||Johnny||
||kinda bummed out i lost my car||
pewm
aight
everbody talk about game awards here before we get groomed by discord mods
Cap.
everyone gangsta until mods
especially me
everybody gangsta until mods leave their mom's basement

anyway feel free to be salty here for whatever that's worth
ok thank you
lol
gotta love Thena's passive-aggressiveness sometimes.
Totally not because I do it as well.
Not at all
any opinions on Ark 2? lol
as a fan of Ark 1, the trailer was a shock when watching it in the game awards, but after further reviewing it the day later, my group of friends and I have noticed that it's a trailer made with the in-game engine and game assets...
It looks awesome, and the music is made by Gareth Coker, which makes it impossible to be bad.
I feel like they should've finished the first one and at least optimize it a bit before announcing it but their call I guess 🤷♂️
is Ark in 1.0 yet, even?
True. They won't be dropping support for the first game, but it is definitely still full of issues
I can understand abandoning the original to try and make a new one
but the fact that it's running on an outdated engine makes it harder to fix bugs
Problem here is that if they end up going with the same engine then there would still be those kind of bugs
@bold crag I love your game selection there. Curious to know if you play serious or just for fun?
Haven't played the og since it was on beta
it's not on beta?
same engine, it seems, but updated. Keep in mind that "bug-free" games do not exist, and there will always be issues. My expectations for Ark 2 are low, but I still have hope. I love Ark for the basics, yes I complain about the bugs and stuff, but they don't stop me from playing. As long as Ark 2 is still the similar base gameplay, and doesn't have game breaking bugs, I will be happy to play it.
I know there will always be bugs. But the problem is the second Ark having the level of bugs as the first
And the possibility of it not being optimized very well
that is another thing
imagine the best PC today having issues with Ark 1, now imagine Ark 2 is just as unoptimized. Even nasa computers will have issues there.
I just hope they know where they fucked up in Ark 1 and do not commit the same issues in 2
if the game flops at the start, then that'll be on them (obviously), but the trailer is taking waaay too much hate already
but but Vin Diesel
That kind of sucks but I can understand why people are reacting that way. They've been spending all this time churning out a bunch of maps instead of trying to fix bugs and optimize the game. And then they go and announce a new game before they're even finished with the last map. I'm worried the same kind of thing will happen with this game. Releasing it, is bug filled and poorly optimized, then they spend all their time churning out a bunch more maps
🤷♂️
all we can do is hope.
but the first game is lovely, and my hope for the second game is there. So that's something to look forward to
on the same subject, what about the animated series?
I personally am very hyped to finally be seeing the lore in more detail
because in the game, it is poorly tossed at you
I guess we'll see
is that the cast for Ark 2?
Surely not
Ark has an animated series?
will have
@fervent fog well, i still dont know any of the items
ah, so you're fresh?
yeah
but i dont really play the games tooo seriously, mobas are always something that gets toxic very fast if you get too serious
Ye
but usually i play it with a friend of mine
always good to have friends to play with, specially in mobas.
mobas can get very angry when played alone lol
yeah moba solo queue is a place you dont want to land in often
If only we had friends to play with. sad violin
unfortunately that's about 1k of my hours xd
probably a lot more...
yeah whenever i play soloqueue its basically a social experiment "what will my teammates manage to do this time?"
it always amuses me
Lmao yes
like "how is this rama behind the enemy team?"
how did he get there
why does no one care
why did he just shoot all his ult arrows and not hit a single one
So i crashed this truck and got it stuck, but to this hobo, it was just a convenient new shelter.
People already found money exploits in Cyberpunk and have stupid amounts of $$$ now, lol
Apparently soda cans in the game can be dismantled for materials worth like 7x more than the can itself 😆
Recycling saves the world
One $10 soda can in the game gives $74 in Uncommon crafting materials when you dismantle it. So people are buying out rows of vending machines, breaking down all the cans, and making phat stacks of $$$
Lol omg
My friend sold 700 uncommon crafting material for $10k, which sounds like a lot of crafting material but each can dismantles into like 9 crafting materials 😆
All this makes me wanna play even more badly
I'm very pro game "exploits"
Maybe like with Skyrim they'll make unofficial patches that fix the actual bugs that game devs left in there. But that's why I'd personally wait for all the patches and mods to get out so the game will be more enjoyable.
Like I'm actually doing a 100% achievement playthrough of Skyrim Special Edition even though I could do mods, once I start doing mods I won't want to go back to vanilla lol.
Fucking WHAT???

#TheCallistoProject is a new survival horror from the creator of #DeadSpace, and it takes place three centuries into the future of the #PUBG universe https://t.co/be29tsXE0p

Best confused gifs out there. Although I've zero clue what we're confused about
In other news, I am still NOT a fan of dinklebot's dialogue (ehm...monologue) in Destiny. No matter how much they've toned it down, it still feels very mickey mousey to me. I wish I can mute him, independently from all other dialogue
So far for money in Cyberpunk I have been running around the rooftops hacking criminal wireless systems and stealing their stashes
120k so far
Whats funny is, when they realized they were hacked and you hear people flipping out maybe a minute in
Like MY MONEY< MOTHER@!#$@$ WHere is ittttt?!
Sweet music
I so wanna play
Though to be honest, I dont find money all that hard to make. I mostly rooftop cruise like batman taking out criminal hives.
Some a LOT harder then others
THen the Snuff porn studio. Yeah, that one I burned to the ground.
That was a rough mission.
didn't know you could hack their bank accounts, i must try this and can see it getting addicting 😄
Oh for sure
only have about 15k
Currently down to 19k again, just bought scrap to upgrade
I dont really keep fancy armor. I upgrade what I like
Stupid small pics
Ill get a new one later
hehe, techno ninja
Im more like a merc outfit. I liked the camo
he is known as V'inja!
although i rarely use the katana, found another melee tool which is just ridiculous
I use baseball bats
My weapons of choice, on this character is Baseball bats, for non lethal combat. Light machine guns for ranged and mid. Pistols for close.
Also, extremely good skills at boxing
@glass plinth Just buy a bunch of cans and dismantle them, lol. You get like 9 material per can, and you can sell 700 materials for $70k 😆
I dont bother with exploits.
I wouldnt do it as a character, I wont do it in game
Unless I happen to have a bunch of cans
Im more reality based meta, no preknowledge. no breaking rp
I love it
especially on first playthrough
Just hold on to your cans til you have around 80 then, lol. Don't play differently or change anything, just hoard cans then break em down once you have a bunch
Think of it as you RP-ing a badass cyberpunk recycler 🤣
Lol, My guys a engineer type. He was a very physical fixer as a corpo. So he definitely knows the value of recycling lol
Cleaning up the streets, one thug and can at a time
Oh man, I wont spoil it, but there is a HUGE stash of stuff under something I found
I am saving up mats to make somethign i found down there.
Its beaaaautiful
God of War is beautiful and fun, but i’m starting to feel fatigued of its gameplay systems
though that is generally where i end up with a majority of games that take me past a 30 hour mark
"what do you mean we overstayed our welcome? most people don't even finish games? but they dismiss games that provide under double digit hours of play!"
The PUBG "universe"? was there some sort of lore in PUBG??
I tend to get tired after 1000 if the games not my kind of game
Im pretty patient, ok, maybe too patient
Lol
Although, I think with cyberpunk Ill make it about 500.
I dont typically play games like cyberpunk as long as sandboxes or mmos
You try to 100% complete games?
Most of the time.
I mean some games like ark I had huge communities and built cities
so those I played multiple thousands of hours
Being a completionist when playing games makes me feel like a robot without any emotions
Yeah I dont have that issue.
Memory disorder helps
every day is new
Ha, its a blessing for being a gamer.
sounds exciting
I used to have a more reliable memory, until I got Mono, fried my brain lol
I think there's only 2 or 3 games I have over 1000 hours in which CS and tf2
I’m generally the same way with movies and shows and books. I can’t read or watch things more than once usually unless it’s been a long time
Lol
oh dang mono
I can read the same book every 3 years and its fresh
any sooner and even I remember
Yeah, I had mono 9 months
It kept mutating
wow
Almost killed me at the end
glad it didn’t
Finally bout my body temp spiked so bad, I literally fried
They had to put me in a ice bath and the whole nine yards
Though I dont remember that part really
Never heard of this mono
Mononucleosis
Kissing disease to some
Got it at school using a public fountain, back when I wasnt so careful lol
Wow
I wonder how many hours I have on minecraft
It's not a steam thing and I dunno if it keeps track of your hours so it's curious thought to me
Probably more than any other game tbh
*for me
Imagine withering away from 140ish pounds to 75pounds. Months of just slowly withering in bed. Nothing but school work. That was when I was younger. I ended up getting much bigger lol. My norm weight is 225
MC usually rack up 1000s of hours
@glass plinth how TF did you weigh 75 pounds and live
even if it did, it's likely linked to saves so really hard to pin down @winter yew
I almost didnt Nacho
glad you’re back to health
THat was a LOOOONG time ago
Yes
Yeah, being underweight is dangerous as being overweight I think
For sure
Ah, well that makes it a little bit better lol
Oooph
Now that looks like 75 years old lol
Depends on height
"being 75 years old at an older age would be scary af"
75 is where your officially past experiation
You mite make it further
but its all icing past that
Haha
I have a life expectancy of 2020
Or 2021
Due to health issues
So I have maybe 21 years to go
Which is fine
Im totally fine with that.
It used to scare me, but the older I get, the less I worry about dying.
I just enjoy the now 😄
Best way, live for the now
Hrmm, getting harder for a lot of us to enjoy life the same way we used to. I think a lot of it is chasing after a quality of life we were used to growing up. When the reality is, we may have had to much in the first place.
I guess that just mite be perspective of time.
UGH, I cant hear. THis apartment Im in now is to try and all my sinus cavity dried up so bad it closed my ear canals
Will have to see what 2021 brings, I'm not getting my hopes up though
I think everyone sorta realizes we fall off the cliff and its going to be all a lot harder.
Sorta like the world took its training wheels off
Between the famines, diseases, mass migrations and economic turmoil, nothing really looks all that great coming up
THough we mite have a few good years here and there
We will see
I was looking at agricultural projections of the next 10 years, fairly non debatable changes we wont be able to change in the short term even with tech and its.. grim. They suspect the death toll from famine to go from 6million or so a year to 21 Million.
Going to be rough because itll impact regions we are starting to rely on for resources hehe
funny how it works out that way
ANYWAYS< Sorry that should have been in serious
LOl
Hrmm, is there a impact for staying hydrated in Cyberpunk?
Hrmm checked
Man I need to eat more
LOl
It helps you regen stam and health
Also, man, I just remembered, I need to get robo legs to jump higher
I've barely looked into the cyber ware stuff, too expensive atm lol
I added a couple more bits from another guy
The only upgrades I have are mostly mods for my gun and subdermal armor
I wont lie, Subdermal on hard combat is a must
I decided to go hard, just to make it more fun for me
Im not big on east combat
I added I think shoulder armour plating n something else
Yeah I play on hard, seems a nice balance so far
Yeah
Enemies are quite bullet spongy though
Subdermal helped me beat the twins boxy
Well considering they are filled with repair nanintes, subdermal armor and stuff
they sorta are bullet spongy
GAH! One boss kept rescucitating!
He would fall over, repair and pop back up
Haha
I wanted to bring him in alive, but i just couldnt
I had to cut his head off
Knocking him out wasnt so much the issue as his army kept trying kill me as I was going out
and there was no way i could kill all of them
Truthfully if my character was more tech capable I think I could have hacked my way out, but not so much my forte
Usually end up guns blazing after a stealth attempt lol
I do the ninja hacker route with my character (ifd we are talking cp2077)
We are Natani
I tend to stealth well enough and knock them out with a good placed punch
However, sometimes I dont have the means past tech deterents
Even then , I often manage to knock them out with Buela. My lovely baseball bat
Of course some targets dont get to live. Some need to die
Like the snuff porn director
threw him off a roof
Lol
I knocked him out, but after I did, I was like, Nah, this one doesnt go to jail to just come out
Walked him to the roof and went Bye byeeeee
I still cant go into that neighborhood without being shot at like.
Seriously, a weeks gone by, they never forget it seems
OH! I also love it, I have a schedule. 2 days work, 1 day merc
that allows me to progress my storyline and my career
I usually take small breaks from main story to do side quests or just explore
Sigh, so tired, I need to stop staying up tell 2am
I keep staying up late, waking up at 10, then not really waking until 3
then not being sleepy tell 2am
Sigh
First time Ive had my sleep schedule flip like that
must be my age
I wish I could stay up but gotta be up at 4.30am ugh
Ooph
So how far in are you Natani? Im sorta dragging my feet on the story, havent even talked to dex at the afterlife lol
Oo gets very interesting after that, that's all I'm gonna say
Oh Ive had a few spoilers. I know it does
Not to bad though, generally kept spoilers to a minimum
😄
I am on ||Disasterpiece|| main quest
Oh and ||Dalimen has a virus ||in him too, so gotta do that quest.
So I found the Exploiter Orb for the first time, big ol’ spider robot caught me offguard
hehe
I think the best thing I found was a pair of Japanese sisters in a high rise, they wanted help to find their dad
I ended up having to search, he was passed out at the ocean, knocked out by thugs
Lucky he didnt die. Managed to save him and they are geniunely family to me now
I cant tell you how emotional i get on some quests
people can be so natural at times
So of note, the 5700xt is running Cyberpunk WAY better then expected. The recent amd drivers upped frames even more too
I also managed to get Raytracing to somewhat work, even though its not supposed to using some experimental software a friends developing
Looking more and more like Radeon cards can run raytracing just fine compared to 2000 series nvidias. Nvidia used some clooged code to make it not work with amd, which can be fixed.
Now DLSS, yeah that is a plus on the nvidia side hehe
Best boss in the game.

Someone send that to Elon
I love it how much Chubby trolls with that image. Musk actually blocked him in the past.
10/10
man.. so bs. I killed an enemy and they dropped a legendary but I can't pick it up...
Is it under the body or what?
It's so legendary it's untouchable
I threw scorpions bike into a river right away
some guy cut me off suddenly and I bounced lol
No its just there. I have lost so many items because I just cant loot bodies.
well found an xp/money/cred glitch
Is the face creator actually that detailed or is that fake?
do any of u guys play no mans sky?
never heard of it
what game is that?
fine I didn't want to know anyways
Haha alright
theres also like only 2 planets u can visit rlly
Martian manhunter or that guy from the weird animated space thing
@cinder vessel I found what you'll love most about Cyberpunk
Answers
No
and of course they are, they have nano meds that can allow them to recover and 90 percent of perps have subdermal armor
When people complain about a setting issue, I just say, no, shut it, your dumb
Of course, with the loot system, I dont really pay attention to anything other then if its iconic , if not, I scrap it
aww yes loving this. At 800k eddies
love 2 get loads of literal junk in games
by that logic shouldn't they also have subdermal armor penetrating rounds to obviate that
But you don't need to craft it!
and like emps to fuck with the nanomeds
Well the nano-meds would be diffiulct to mess with, depending on the models
nanoemps
THe subdermals definitely DO have weapons which can mess with them
They simply arent public
Hell, I only think Militech has access to them
wouldn't subdermal armor make internal ricochet a fuckin' nightmare, lmao
Depends on the geometry hehe
Now if it got inside past
OOOPH
yeah, that would suck
My current setup, I use high grade subdermals, a medical rescue module and improved leg
Basically the legs let me jump higher
A must for my combat style
that's what i meant with internal ricochet, lol
What about toxins
Just introduce them to GOOP or MMS and watch as they poison themselves to death
true, but that would be too cool and Deus Ex-ish
and from everything i've seen of CP2077 it's more into the big shooty bits
LOL
wut
Lizzie's is a club in the game
are we a club in the game
Oof
Im curious how these people stealth
I mean it is true, I may find scenarios I cant stealth
However, I managed to do full stealth often
Without hacking I mite add
I agree, because once I start hacking, the "revealing position to enemies" happen
is it still the case that as you hack you kinda tend to pop out from behind cover?
Sometimes
i seem to recall that coming up in GB's quick look
I dont personally use hacks much
Except to blow things up
Now thats handy
Oh or steal money
cp2077, no use hacks much 💀
tho tbh from what i've seen it does seem a tad...clunky
My friend arc seems good at it, Im just not
Watch Dogs definitely appears more streamlined in that respect
I mean lets be honest, hacking isnt a necessary element for you to fit in the genre
Animals anyone?
Its just one of many types of skills
Somebody shoulda given the money CDPR used to a different company to make an Altered Carbon game
wat?
so close to 2 mil eddies
Animals are a gang in the game @cinder vessel
maybe it's just me but i was pretty sure hacking/tech mucking about was pretty key to cyberpunk 🤷♀️
like okay so you're not hacking, are you still hotwiring or slapping together gizmos from stolen tech? then at least there's something there
What i mean is, in the cyberpunk genre, a lot of people cant hack
Now use tech, thats a different story
Almost everyone can use tech, not necessarily manipulate it though the way a hacker could
Like Jackie, you wouldnt expect him to be doing much in the way of a hack
Lol
My problem with mass effect trilogy
Angry action hero or calm action hero
Only character options for Sheppard
Andromeda at least tried to have the MC have a more variable personality
Honestly if every choice led the same overall direction, I'd still be happy as long a the MC would actually change in emoting and reactions from others
A "change everything" narrative gets incredibly messy
Honestly I'm gonna do NG+ on Andromeda when I get a Series X, I gotta play it in its full glory with shorter loading times 😆
well this is just fucking lovely. Stuck and cannot advance at all. Literally stuck in a building because doors wont open
Chrono Cross says hi (kinda)
but that's also what i've always enjoyed about it
fucking what
I don't think so buddy
I love how when I click 'See System Requirements" it just does absolutely nothing
...is that through the microsoft store?
just testing the waters lmao
but yeah, you're right, it's pretty trashy
(im just paying for the monthly $10 game pass, which is nice for a few games here and there)
so I haven't thrown any more than that for a full-priced game at the Microsoft store yet, I've gotten to play some nice indie games and a handful of AAA titles that found their way there.
Also I just realized I can play the entire Master Chief Collection through Game Pass
Still, I'm not surprised at how badly they've handled the release of Doom Eternal on the Microsoft Store.

Yeah I finally fixed mine, its such a pain
how? I can't do anything lol
OP FIXED IT
GETTING IN AND OUT OF A CAR FIXES IT
well, makes me content not having gotten it yet, i guess 🤷♀️
nah, you're making the right move
@keen dome U need to reboot your PC probably
Ive noticed this game appears to have some very gradual memory leak problems or something to a similar effect
if you play a very long time, stuff will mis-time, drops will start being wrong, textures will get more and more glitched up and wrong
^ 100%
Nah I restarted the game and it fixed the bug
in my case, crashes become much more frequent
ouch.. My PC manages to keep it running but weirder and weirder bugs start happening. Seems it can go at least four hours without real issues though
crashes also happen to me when I do anything vehicle related so I just run everywhere and abuse fast travel
nah I can't keep the game running for more than 45 mintues
I think you might have other troubles computerman XD
it's definitely possible, I have said my gpu is dying
Its time.... to steal someone else's RTX 3080
Shakedown Nvidia 2020
bro I'd pull a heist for a 3080/3090
im down too.
let's gooo
@bronze wind
Yeah I don't recognize that, what game is it?
lol
Geometry Wars 3 Dimensions
I have this game on pc, ps4, psvita and iPhone/iPad (though apparently it's not purchasable on some of those platforms digitally anymore due to some licensing issue?)
Yo cyberpunk is lit
Been playing it all weekend
Slightly buggy but oh well, still a great game
eh, I'm starting to get a bit tired of the bugs now
can't keep it running for more than 45 mintues before it crashes
I would do that and more
man with all the running I am doing it sure is making me wish parkour was left in
my brain's seeing things and wanting to wallrun on them
ikr??
was parkour supposed to be a thing? i thought it was strictly a blade-arm ability thing
to an extrent, at least wallrunning was meant to be in at one point
Can you download just the campaign of DOOM Eternal on Steam? @winter yew
Why are Leon and Soul squinting eyes

Why not?
i don't have my glasses on

idk, I refunded the game the week it came out
smh, being reminded that big games are sometimes big just because intros take like 8-10 hours to get going
Got real tired of how Eternal played real quick
Was gonna say I'm pretty sure you can't only download the campaign on any platform, not just the Microsoft store 😆
ahh right
Cuz Battlemode is sitting there at the main menu of the game 😆
i still haven't played Doom yet, maybe i should
last time i tried to start up doom '16 on PC it just took forever to start up so i was like, "eh fuck it prodeus is faster to start up"
yeah the startup is pretty annoying
I think why I enjoy CP...You aren't type cast as much as most other games in terms of combat strategy. Hell. You don't even have to fight, if you can stealth well.
Doom '16 has the worst start menu, lol
Once you get into the game proper it's smooth sailing tho
yeaa
i think it's maybe preloading a bunch of stuff or something in startup, to ensure smooth load throughout? but i dunno
Cyberpunk reminds me of Splinter Cell on crack
🤨
Super stealth with drugs
i've heard so many mixed things about stealth, kinda surprised to see that
usually start off stealthy then end guns blazing
To do stealth right, you have to be very forgiving of fucked up physics and save frequently lol
I put down a body once so I could grab something and the body went "NOPE! I'M GO IN A WALL AND JIGGLE AROUND NAO!!"
They remove the npc physics while you're carrying it, which is weird.
The game toggles physics for a lot of things so you get some funny moments
Like driving along and ramping NPC like they're made of concrete.
Or your car explodes from running into people
haven't tried that yet
I know it's shit collision coding, but in my mind I'm telling myself they're all augmented so their bodies are made of steel like cars
so far haven't seen many physics bugs
might get the occasional object fly in the air or randomly break
Honestly, I havent seen any bugs past a point, They all seemed to disappear for me
Also, storyline wise, this is soooo much better then I expected.
I noticed how eager streamers were to do the laaaadies. It's becoming a running joke now how many dudes on twitch "accidentally" engage male prostitutes by accident, thinking they're talking to another NPC (not paying attention to the icon).
Im pretty over the moon
I havent actually even considered that shit
Im a bit to serious a guy to get down with anyone
lol
well off to work, laters folks
I've played so much Cyberpunk I can feel the exhaustion coming on, just considering playing it.
Weird sensation.
I really like that I can play without gog running though
That's nice.
Im splitting my time between games
So for me, no wear down
I mite not be around much when I move the 16th, not even sure ill have internet where I am moving.
I'm playing indie games, mainly Haven 😆
Haven & Per Aspera keep making me go 👀
Haven is 💕
I kinda feel sorry for those games releasing so close to CP2077
But also so close to end of year, so you're gonna have some people only noticing them maybe sometime early next year
The characters have a believable relationship and their voice acting is actually normal. I love it 💕
They're also adorable sometimes, lol
does it have difficulty options? someone here mentioned it feeling tough to play solo
Plus I like the exploration and combat. Simple but 👌
Yeah it has lots of options. I'm on the default options and haven't had a problem tho
I can see why people would lower the combat damage and whatnot for at least the first couple hours til they've gotten the hang of it
Okay the mantis blades are fucking nuts just saying
My only issue with melee is the repeat kill...no variety in melee
Haven is a very cute game to play with a significant other, lol. Especially if you don't know what choices the other person will make in conversations 😆
Definitely intend to pick up Haven & Per Aspera at some point
I expected cyberpunk, after 8 years to make me feel better about all this covid shit...
It really doesn't
Btw there's a Klei sale going on GOG atm, in case you wanted to pick up some of their games on the cheap
No. I was waiting for CP for 8 years

Ducati
Cyberpunk 2077
Quadrilateral Cowboy is cool af
Yup
I am loving the storyline
I think what draws me in, is how I sorta grow accustomed to a area, I start to feel part of it
They did a amazing job feeding you connections
Yes
You are able to out in words what I been struggling to try and even come close to saying.
Mm, Signs of the Sojourner is really interesting
Very slick too
Quadrilateral Cowboy has a slapdash feel to it, with its own sort of slick setup going on, but a little much to pick up right away
Very literal cyberpunk approach with it, in a way. You toss down your deck and hack nearby doors/cameras/lasers/etc.
Signs of the Sojourner has a clever dialog system to it, where you don't say anything but try to follow the flow of conversation by picking different cards to match another person's cadence
One wrong card and you can miss different paths to take
In my case, I value how the impact of what I do impacts a community
One dead kid, a mishacked object killing someone
it all matters
So every mission is just so impactful
leaving behind so many stories
My character definitely loves night city
But fuck this place
Damn they legit care
I don't see other companies responding like this. But I also haven't really cares either tbh
Good on them
Hmm interesting
It's like finding out that one fucking typo in code disabled close to all Alien AI in Colonial Marines.
waitimg for pubg to finish installing so i can play 2 matches quickly. hell
then gotta do the same for tom clancy
Been playing breakpoint recently and it's actually not that bad
honestly im just doing it for the gamepass quests
Had no interest in it until they added the more realistic mode n turned gun levels off
give it another
I think you missed the point. My issue isn't the game. I love the game. My issue is the virus - which I'd hoped to at least be distracted from for a bit (and am not in the least). Game is great. I am just feeling a sense of existential dread in the backdrop of playing it during a global pandemic that has killed over a million people and impacted over 70,000,000 - many, now with permanent underlying conditions that insurance companies will be looking for in the future to disqualify them for coverage.
wow, that went dark fast
"Kiss my tits, punk!"
😛
What a horrible person to hire for your front desk.
Job Interviewer:"What's your administrative experience?"
Applicant: "My, what a cute face you have."
Job Interviewer: "Do you have any customer service experience?"
Applicant: "Kiss my tits!"
Job Interviewer: "You're hired!"
She's like a perverted Groot.
Who can say two phrases instead of one.
I can see this turning into a skit...with every response being either "My, what a cute face you have" or "Kiss my tits!"
helping cops be better friends 😛
Is that the mission with Barry?
I enjoyed that one. I fked up the first run though.
That shit gets dark fast.
i can imagine so
@austere lance Updated my settings per that post. I will update if it fixed anything, here.
Better performance would be great.
Esp since of my 8gig GPU it was only using 3gb, if those settings are accurate
and less than 2 gigs of my 10gb available to physical memory
I have 16gb physical ram, but I only have 10 available (the rest is reserved for OS)
i found the important thing
(easter egg)
Adjusting those settings, I was able to run Cyberpunk on high settings with only slight concern on thermals. I get a little paranoid when thermals on the CPU approach 90 degrees.
So lowering some shadow settings should fix that right up.
Overall, huge boost in fps
Even with the GPU pool settings changed appropriately, it only used 69% of my GPU ram in a heavily populated area in the city
Haha as a half life fan I love it @full pivot
I'll just stick with Wildlands x)
something that totally fucks me up is like, a lot of crunch went into cp77 and like, that it has bugs is just... given, now, and it's worse for it. i hope the devs received reparations for their extra work, but im also sad that this is still the norm in the industry, to work devs to the bone and release a messy product because they were too burned out to fix the bugs
I hope the devs received reparations for their extra work
hahahah
I love how people were like "guys support the developer buy on GOG so they get 100% of the money" as if GOG isn't also CD PROJEKT and they aren't already a publicly traded large company that makes a shitload of money
And yes the norm is to release early and try to compensate with crunch and then delays that don't actually make a difference because of crunch
they're no indie company, its a bigly one and they 99% will act like one
I'm glad they said the bonuses will no longer be based on reviews but it's all post mortem shit
until some actual developer comes up to let us know (and without a metaphorical gun pointed at their head) I will just be realistic and assume they were only paid normally
Jimquisition was kinda ahead of his time now that I think about it
mfw I go to play Wildlands and it has a 20GB update since the last time I touched it.
@fiery fog No game has ever been released without bugs. In the case of CP77, the game is on a new engine. The company doesn't have an emulator for every possible computer system that exists. Shit gets complicated the greater variability there is. You could throw the entire GDP for the entire country of The United States at a games development and never successfully quash all of the bugs.
The devs were not too burned out to fix bugs. There's literally no physical way to anticipate all of the bugs that can occur.
On top of the games code they have to try and manage and anticipate driver updates, system requirements, coding changes, operating system updates, user experimentation and how every feature will interact in every scenario.
People are blowing CP77 issues way out of proportion. Let's not forget this is a video game while we're railing on the company for allegedly torturing their staff in some sort of fictional coding sweat shop of horrors.
It's possible to enjoy the game while also recognizing the development issues surrounding it as legitimate. I'm glad they are taking some action to reverse the shitty policy they had before about bonuses being based on 90+ metacritic score or whatever, and I don't blame the devs for bugs. But erasing all negative criticism with "but it's hard" doesn't somehow solve all of their problems. Ignoring the real crunch that happened and still happens in the industry is unfair as well.
I excuse the bugs because I don't blame the developers, I blame their management
People are blowing CP77 issues way out of proportion.
Are you sure about this? Because I don't think that players' consoles crashing because of a videogame is blowing its bugs out of proportion. Also, both PS and MS are agreeing to refunds for digital purchases as a result.
People are just going back and forth taking turns inflating the others' points
Just because not all players are experiencing the same amount of bugs, or with the same severity, it does not mean that the bugs do not exist. Or that those experiencing them are blowing things out of proportion.
The game is buggy, has a lot of issues on base console, and people are rightfully upset. just like people can be rightfully upset when other AAA games release full of bugs. The people who do shit like throw death threats around or condemn developers are the ones that are blowing things out of proportion
CP already green lit all refunds for all platforms to avoid the impropriety of a PR scandal to rip off customers. I never said there are no bugs. On the contrary, I expected bugs. At the same time, however - Developers do not deserve to see their lives ruined because they released a game that has bugs.
On the other hand the "it works on my machine lol" types of people are totally minimizing that issues just because they themselves haven't experienced them
How would devs lives be ruined though?
It's entirely a management issue.
Shit doesn't roll uphill.
Thankfully they aren't going the route of "typical shitty manager"
but I'm sure that'll happen soon
Im thinkin bout makin a nms kinda style mc server called No Man's Mine. Think I should?
You did say that people are blowing the issues "way out of proportion" was my point.
I'm not wrong, either. My saying that does not dismiss all complaints.
This isn't a black and white situation.
It's just weird to me that this empathy comes out after the game releases in a fairly poor state for a lot of people and not when the stories of intense crunch were surfacing among the delays
It's dismissing the "proportion" of the bugs. Which is so high both PS and MS are having to agree to refunds for digital copies which is not the norm.
Yes I know it's not black and white
I disagree with it not being the norm.
Not a single game has released like this that this was not a standard
Bugs are normal yes
Every developer that tried this crap and avoided refunds got speared by the media.
and sued
It is not the norm, for MS to refund $ for digital purchases, for games that have already been played.
Yes they are doing post mortem PR recovery so they can try and maintain their position as "the only good large company"
Pretty sure America has consumer laws that protect consumers from this kind of stuff, too
"Pretty sure" does not equate factual reality though.
i f***in knew CP was gonna be overrated the moment i saw it
Sadly, not all players get a refund for just any digital game they've purchased not knowing that the game didn't meet their expectations.
It doesn't really have to meet expectations if it does not work or even meet it's stated requirements to function.
But this game didn't just not meet expectations, it was crashing their consoles. So it became an obvious reason to refund, which like I said, is not the norm under normal circumstances for all games.
If you buy a product that does not function - worse, could potentially damage your belongings, you are entitled to a refund. How is that not normal?
That was my whole point. Re: you stating that people / players were blowing issues out of proportion. Not all issues are created equal here.
Some bugs (issues) were not just game breaking, but console/system breaking
The point isn't that refunds are not normal, it's the severity of bugs some people were experiencing
obviously it's still a fraction of the total player base
It is concerning.
yeah that's what people are talking about
As soul noted earlier in a reddit post reposted, it seems even basic configuration files were distributed with errors.
of course we could talk a lot about all the minor non game breaking bugs or the lack of depth in a lot of the systems but i enjoy the game so idk who i'd even be serving with those details
Having tested the "correct" configuration settings, myself - I can confirm that the game functions much MUCH better with the right settings.
The PC release configuration settings for RAM usage are set to the same stats as consoles lol
So my game was running using only one-third of my GPU's ram.
Result: Game cycles assets faster and more frequently, more pop in
Yeah, that's sad. Which does go back to a valid concern brought up by SpaceDot earlier in this convo. About how game devs do get burned out by corporations. I've been on a similar boat before (on development projects). And you're bound to have more bugs during crunch time. Because you're f'n human. And working 16 hour days/shifts month after month is not healthy.
Was it previous generation or current generation consoles having issues?
I wonder if they modified the configuration files in the next patch
I personally blame management / executives, rather than devs themselves.
All.
All consoles have reported issues, including PS5 and Series X. Not same amount / severity / types. But all consoles have had issues.
The game was NOT ready for consoles. Which executives knew. And made sure not to release any code for consoles for anyone doing reviews.
I blame nobody as long as the company has shown a good faith effort to right the situation. An accident does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it.
The process they followed for reviews was def not the norm. Which is what some critics are raising as a concern. Because the industry allowed for CDPR's restrictive process, which isn't just normal, but clearly questionable.
This wasn't an accident at all.
An accident is when something happens and you do not know better.
You're alleging malice.
CDPR did purposely avoid the general public being able to see how the game would perform on consoles.
Before release. At all costs. Including NDAs etc.
I wonder what they "tested" this game on, to argue that it was even ready
I'm alleging them prioritizing profit over transparency. Whatever that means in your construct of reality.
And when I say "them", I mean those making the decisions (management / executives), not the devs.
They knew the game wasn't ready for consoles though.
The latest delay, happened because of consoles.
Then they decided that they could not afford any more delays.
Cp2077 is like little caesars
Its a lot more fun when there isnt someone screaming in your ear about how bad it is
Older article explaining how the delay was because of consoles. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-10-29-cyberpunk-2077-delay-necessary-for-last-minute-work-on-current-consoles-dev-says
I was given one of those brain dance thingamajigs and I can't figure out how to even use it.
It must be tied to future missions, to work
I def wanna know what it's like
The system is cleverly instituted. You're basically in control of the recording backdrop of a scene and you can analyze different parts of it, sound, scanning systems, heat signitures, etc
Good for investigating
Ooh I like that! I remember experiencing that in a video game long ago. Def like tat feature.
Also, like I keep saying time and time again, I look forward to playing, enjoying, appreciating every aspect of the game, once I (patiently) get my hands on it.

I think I'm going to start the game over. I don't like playing V as a woman. I kind of hate men.

oh nice
