decided to play another session of Umurangi Generation, figuring out how to get more camera equipment. Turns out ya just have to do all the objectives, which includes doing them all within the time limit

They give ya basic good stuff for casual play, e.g. telephoto/wide angle lens, saturation adjustment, but some interesting modifiers for completing main & bonus objectives, e.g. flashbox/dirty lens (for lens flare)

That's just from the first few levels~
Interested in unlocking more for sure

btw fun fact: Umurangi Generation is DRM-free through Steam, so you can run it through other launchers if ya want w/o it also then opening Steam

The only useful way to make money for the first 30+ hours of the game is space trucking, which requires cargo modules. If you're a noob and hate supercruise+landing you get to either learn to do em the hard way or sacrifice modules for automation

Its manual/automatic tbh; the speed setting is more of a reaction setting (I.e. if you max speed the automatic slowdown to target won't work as efficiently and you'll likely overshoot the "press J to drop out at location") it can be a pain because I swear sometimes it intentionally dicks with me and won't slow down properly toward planets and if your aim is too accurate welcome to an emergency stop barreling down into planetary flight mode (if its landable). Otherwise if targets are sufficient distance its a constant speed increase but never quite as much as you want even at max throttle so hello 30-45 minutes of actual flight time to things like Hutton Orbital.

Generally the idea is align with escape vector, launch supercruise, aim toward your chosen destination and if you're in the blue range it should work easily.

Wait for alignment with blue section of distance

Its just not always that straightforward
