Train Sim World being made by a UK based developer also helps, they really get that British railway vibe. Departing from London Euston or Paddington with announcements blaring, NPCs rushing here and there, London Underground and GWR trains arriving and leaving, HSTs waiting for signal clearance. Gosh it's a vibe.
But they also have other countries as well like Germany, the United States, Austria etc. Maximum they try to get the official branding from the railway company like how SCS does with their truck sims.
Running Train hopefully will provide much needed competition. SimRail started well but I haven't heard from them since.

Yeah that's what I'm hoping because the beta as of now it's like you walk up to a magic station and it's trying to tell you how to do magic and the only clue it gives you is casting spells is not simple You often have to combine different abilities and condition to perform potent spells and then a dude's very far across defense that you're supposed to hit with magic but then zero way to equip magic or do anything and all they give you is firestone's that I have no idea what to do with so definitely confusing and if I played the first one a lot more I'd probably understand more but not what I would do for a beta lol

if you're referring to being fully feral, it just messes with vats and gun acc stuff really and is meant entirely for melee
Cannibal + that one rads are increased from eating radioactive things by 100/200/300% perk is a nice sustain option, though it doesn't work against anything you can't eat (robots, animals, though during meat week there's a new unique armor piece you can get from the event that lets you eat animals)

There was a bug a bit ago where you could go into fort atlas (brotherhood of steel home base area thing) without a disguise
The initiates would keep trying to kill you and were invincible but nobody else would
They should just remove it
But currently they're wasting resources on adding pointless shit next season
infestations are NOT a good addition to the game, its just hyper inflating hp on some rng spawning boss enemies that do comical damage rather than being mechanically interesting like the encryptid event is
Oh yeah also, since ghoul murders your charisma meaning your sales prices to npcs (and some speech checks) are worse, best thing to do is get that one charisma perk that gives a charisma boost whilst talking to npcs that i've forgotten the name of
Tbf it depends on how deep into the game you want but the big damage boosts are these cards called "onslaught" cards
reverse onslaught as its called is for slow firing non automatics, onslaught is the opposite, they're big damage boosts overall
Ghoul isn't awful its just kinda annoying sometimes tbh

Oh and for your sanity, get yourself the starched genes card, because mutations are very powerful and losing them is painfully annoying if you accidentally fatfinger a rad x and wipe out a mutation

if you want the most chill build possible its always going to be a vats build since their damage is multiplicative and its the only way to do crits
Melee ghoul can be very very fun because ghoul has access to a sprint perk so you sprint comically fast
