My only complaint about the game (the gacha is easy to ignore) is the game designs your build around specific characters. Getting attached to one makes building up your account difficult.

I kind of hated the mojo of The Fun Pimps during that development cycle. They refused to give a launch date for years, arguing they'd never be finished updating the game

Their stance stopped feeling like a protest against over-worked development and under cooked products and started looking like a convenient excuse for a lack of progress or direction, after a while.

That’s not an excuse for an update that is asset flipped in Phasmo. All characters are the same model. Basically, the game was exclusively a stolen Unity assets flip game before they started to do these map reworks. I’m not surprised if that they did the character update in 1 day because it’s like “John's first Unity project”.

Quick ramble about gaming and latency. This image shows an 80ms ping while I am on my NordVPN dedicated IP. It actually feels much smoother than my direct ISP connection. Even though the ISP shows a 22 to 28ms ping, the constant rubber banding makes it feel like 1000ms. It seems like the ISP routing paths are congested or inefficient, whereas the VPN provides a stable route that bypasses those issues. That stable 80ms feels like a true 20 or 30ms because there is no stuttering. I really hope ISPs start fixing their routing soon because the rubber banding is unplayable.

The story tried desperately to give depth to the reasons ellie did what she did, but I would've felt more sympathy playing as Ellie wrestling with those emotions. There are longer episodes of the punisher show

You see a show that's an hour long per episode and then the punisher movie isn't even an hour and it doesn't even end

I've never been disappointed in the punisher before.
