Publishers make their products so hard to get or so out of reach to their demographic that the only way to get it for them is stealing. Preventing piracy does not increase sales or decrease thefts. There are entire orgs whose entire purpose is competition between blackhats over who can crack the next kernal based protection first.

It was probably a really dumb thing to send Digital Foundry a PS5 with the game installed on it.

Something tells me the game installed on it is not the release version, but an earlier version that was installed for testing.

Yea I use it for everything. I used to have the buzzard for everything. And tbh I like both equally. Buzzard is great for fast landing and I feel like I’m more used to it. But the sparrow is so much more agile, has rocket spam, and is just as available as the buzzard to call in. No minigun, and lands a little slower, but cuz it feels like there’s more control since it’s lighter than the buzzard

I finished the game "Aethus" today. The story was okay. The gameplay was slow and grindy from start to finish with a shit tonne of back and forth. Voice acting was very good. Graphics okay. I ruined some people who enjoyed the game's enjoyment of the audio when I told them the cosmetics you discover hidden in the world prompt sound reminded me of Baby by Justin Bieber....namely because now they'll never be able to grab one or listen to one without hearing justin bieber music in their head.

Approx 24 hours of story if one does not rush it.

Every single Star Trek show had a story each episode that you could see the start and end of in each episode. Every episode of Discovery though was another exercise in blueballing with cliff hanger after cliff hanger...and they never let up the entire show.

Every single season, each episode was just another part of a long drawn out unnecessarily and poorly structured extension of a single episode blown into 8 or more shows.

Half the time they couldn't even be bothered to be original in their writing and just ripped off older shows to reintroduce old plots into a modern star trek show like some sort of fucked up puppet show

I'm surprised they never shouted Khaaaaan at some point.

I know what inspired this shitty writing style. Someone saw DS9 and thought....Lets remove the episodic adventures and just make an entire show about the larger picture.

The acting was good. The props and sets were great. The graphics and videography fantastic. The writing was horse shit.

Who ever green lit that approach to story telling should be fired and shot out of a cannon into a puddle of whatever fluid counts as regret

Got the avi shwartzman missions, Dr. Dre ones, selling cars from the special vehicle warehouse every like 20 mins (200k+ Top range) and in between all that is car wash money laundering, the nightclub, selling from businesses, etc. heists are more like when u wanna get some friends and actually commit to something. but as a solo'er only, i just rotate everything on a routine.

one thing i noticed, is the difficulty of some things will increase. like when i export a car from my warehouse invite only, itll send crazy ass hard npcs after me, which is managable but sometimes absolute BS too.

But in pub lobbies. even if its like 2-3 players. that risk takes precedent instead, and you wont get those npc's while delivering

it assumes that the other players are going to go after you like the npc's however since its optional for em 90% of the time in deadish lobbies, theyre all doin there own thing too busy to worry about you

theres also all the jobs now too u can do. forklift, firetruck, taxi, pizza delivery, and newspaper boy, pharmacy delivery, n security.

Still haven't finished the Dark Heresy playtest as it turned out to be more content than I expected, but man that game looks so promising and I wanted to share my experience with it. I dreamed of the Inquisition based 40k cRPG with story of intrigue investigation and so on and it might be it.

• It has a very cool system for gathering clues and piecing together a case. As you explore, investigate, pass checks, and talk to NPCs, you gradually add more material to a “board.” Initial connections are created automatically—for example, if you find a clue in a certain place, it will be linked to that location. You can also choose from different conclusions, which create additional connections. It’s up to you whether to investigate more thoroughly or close the case early and submit a report. Very cool system. You can move stuff around too so if it gets cluttered you can sort it out.

• I also like how faction reputation is split into two types, neither of which is truly negative. A faction can either fear and respect you or like you and cooperate with you, which fits perfectly with the Inquisition as the central theme.

• Character conviction is hidden in the playtest. Could be on purpose to not spoil things, to not show potential paths character can take.

• Some classes and abilities seem to look similar to how they were in Rogue Trader but it confuses me slightly since they look and sound similar but work very differently since this is a different system. Seems like they added "modals", abilities that can be turned on and which change how other abilities behave.

Why I like Intel's direction more than Nvidia....Intel is building smaller faster architecture so they can work more efficiently with less. Nvidia is building tech through brute force that requires more everything to work better.
