Most VR games (Alex included) are just on the rails narrative story telling with physics included. They're playable books. I wouldn't call a predictable story with programmed responses the most realistic VR game. VR simulation games are working foundationally on making VR more realistic without relying on plot to sell their ideas.

It really depends on what you consider real in a video game.
