Interesting. Especially the joystick. The joystick looks like a painted C64 DTV made years back by Jerry Elsworth. It's a C64 in an FPGA with game ROMs and even has board headers to add a keyboard, drive, etc. inside (unadvertised features). I picked one up when it was released back in 2004 or so.

I thought I was out of luck with Battlefield 6 because of the anti cheat secure boot thing. Long story short, when I first got this computer secure boot actually bricked my motherboard, so I had it replaced and kept secure boot off for obvious reasons. Ever since, I’ve been too nervous to turn it back on. Today I finally decided to risk it, sweating bullets the whole time… and no brick so far. Fingers crossed, because I really want to play Battlefield 6. It looks amazing, and aside from Battlefield 4 most of the recent games have been a letdown. This one feels like the franchise might actually be making a comeback.

I did TOS this time around and actually thought they'd made an improvement to the way the gameplay was going to unfold when I was hit with a scene where I had to determine controls for recalibrating shields, directing repairs and modulating shields....but after every single sequence they threw in a "CHECK THE BOMB" part, which felt so unnatural as to be a bad joke mocking the limited gameplay feature with more of the same ol "get thing" gameplay

I think they can do better and I think they know it.

I see a clear attempt to change things up a bit gameplay wise, but the dated engine and technology they have to work with limits their ability to update it.

if you know, you hold parkour down above a guard and you will tackle them
but there is a way to get around it, you just have to parkour down from any surface you arent standing straight up on
