Also, iirc, forge worlds mostly produce military vehicles like tanks. I think the major ones produce titans and possibly void ships, but most of the blueprints for those have been lost or are being hidden by a few Mechanicus

I went and replayed 3 and Rogue and some others recently, none of them have really held up that well in either regard. The main weak part for it is Naoe's story ain't that interesting, but Yasuke's is good enough to make up for it imo

Oh yeah, you can tie a rope around people's necks to choke em out and drag em places to kill em so you don't have to pick up and carry bodies

And you can use said rope to choke servants unconscious so they don't narc on you if they spot you in restricted areas, lol

Oh yeah, your equipped weapons will give you different assassination techniques. Tantos give you the classic double assassination from the OG games, katanas let you Kill Bill mfers through paper doors, and kusurigama let you hook someone and Spider-Man zip yourself to em to stab em in the face 🤣

• psychic attack might actually have some good effects on them since the brood coordination is dependant on telepathic connections. Tho most of them can operate independently getting cut off from something they are born with can be disrupting

• getting rid of the leaders is also a good way, you should screen and purge all the command first and then working downwards when it comes to steelers and their Influence.

• Ulfars plan would be cool, if you didn't care for the planet at all. Managing steelers will be difficult in the long but just crushing infected sectors doesn't guarantee steelers don't escape or don't have some smaller cells elsewhere

Yeah. So every brood has a patriarch, the oldest purestrain gensteeler that Is responsible for the central hub for telepathic network, coordination and leadership as well as signalling for the hivefleet when planet is ready to be consumed

Under patriarch are different hybrids serving as more humanoid leaders for the brood.

Getting rid of the head, either by killing the patriarch or the leaders (both would be ideal) before they can start an uprising and signal the fleet is the way to go

Another purestrain genesteeler will eventually evolve and take role of the patriarch

New leaders will be chosen

But it buys you time, Steelers play the long game so you might get even as much as generations worth of

See Yuma is hotter than Phoenix is and it's humid in the mornings and not cause there's no rain, it's actually the sunniest place on Earth, it gets the most sun out of any place, but it's near a river and it will pick up humidity from California..

What happened was the prequel movies released and there was all these changes done since the game was originally built upon episodes 4-6

So when the Trials of Obi-Wan came out, it added Mustafar to the game and content that was related to Revenge of the Sith and character development process was revamped through New Game Enhancements (NGE) and it led to a number of players demanding their money back for the expansion and there was a protests and Sony offered refunds but most players just left the game..

The combat with NGE was changed to "real time combat" similar to a first person shooter. The player would aim a targeting reticule and left click the mouse to fire where before the combat was auto-aim and auto-fire.. It also changed the skill based free form system to some kind of Everquest-esque level based system..

I think what happened was World of Warcraft had come out a year prior to the expansion and felt the need to try to turn it into the first WoW clone..

There was three expansions all released within about the same time frame

And I am pretty sure it was to compete with WoW..

They watered down all the entertainment classes

Made advancement essentially pointless

I remember one day logging in and finding all my entertainer characters maxxed level. I'm like wtf...and they'd turned the entertainment class into a separate leveling system, granting everyone xp post hoc

NGE made advancement easy, stripped the game of any focus and turned the whole jedi class into a joke

Before NGE, SWG was a Starwars game with Sandbox elements. After NGE, SWG was a Sandbox game with Starwars elements.

Cellular automata simulation is a concept from the game of life representing individual cells as bite sized creatures that create all instances of probability in the simulation based entirely on how the automata propagate. Fire spreading isn't a demonstration of automata.

If it were, then a fire in sand (the same fire in a forest) would turn it into glass

The demonstrations and videos clearly show that not happening

The player is using a tool that does that.

They can run the simulation on a cloud computer, but they're going to run into some serious problems doing that in a live setting.

In the real world, humans don't log off. When things go bad we have to deal with them.

In a simulated world, things go wrong...you can log off.

The simulation will not resolve its own problems. If it's based on the game of life, it can and will lead to self destruction.

Every single run of the simulation leads to self destruction.

...Players will not appreciate that.

Work 40 hours in the game on your new house for it to burn down because someone thought fire do be firin, when you log off

...and since the premise of the game is built around land ownership, that will lead to a hiatus away from the game

There are safe guards that can be put in place, but from a design standpoint, it would be easier to just remove the problem entirely.

and they call you an investor because under the law you aren't entitled to your money back if they fail
