In truth, it lends credence to the claims made by Japan to justify their outrage by virtue of Ubisoft going to great lengths to try and be historically accurate - To the point that their accuracy literally highlighted their insensitivity to the shit they were pretending to be sensitive to (like the one legged torii) and making adjustments to appease historical accuracy.

At the same time, the insensitivity to this art reveals a historic xenophobic racism also rooted in the same issues presented by those who take to the scree, bitching about one of the protagonists being black.

Ultimately this game will be released and it will be successful in part because people will reject the argument that it's not somehow entitled to pay tribute to the culture even if it isn't 100% accurate. The cowards who are marrying their xenophobic racism on the back of historic accuracy will either be rendered invalid or disappear into the vacuum of their own inadequacy with the same cancel culture that screamed its hatred toward Hogwarts Legacy.

This whole complaint from Japan has been co-opted by bad actors and the media are just eating it up like the shit faced dipshits they have always been.

Alternatively, just go to that nice easy in-game store and buy it yourself

Tip: planning projects isn't difficult, don't pic something just bc you can, if it doesn't provide you with a venefit or isn't needed right now you can just leave it

Counterpoints: it only immobilizes anything you hit with it, you need to have decent aim, you need to charge it for it to be effective, you can't spam it, and any creatures with long bodies (like the vast majority of leviathans) must be hit in the head to be stopped iirc

Quests and Story are fine imo, it follows similar formula as Pillars of Eternity writing wise

Some people said it's like a CRPG, it isn't, If you think of it like of Skyrim (Formula: Grab a Quest, travel to that place where quest wants you to go to, explore different cool things on your way there) You will have a lot of fun. It has lower Quantity but better Quality in this aspect.

But when they made Poe one they were HUNGRY there's a YouTube documentary about it too actually

They annoyingly let people buy NPCs that are pointless to talk to but lots of other cool stuff made it in too
The stronghold the dungeon under it ect
Poe one was a Uber succesful Kickstarter

yeah, Sniper for an operative is good, keep them in the back, they are squishy but can deal a lot of damage in single shot

Argenta with a sniper can also deal some dmg and bc of solder action she can shoot twice. She won't hit much with a bolter tho I tend leave her like bc SoB must have a bolter and I just compensate with other character

Warrior archetype has a perk thay gives him flat 1 damage reduction, worth picking up

Another perk gives big flat reduction for first attack of every enemy in a battle

Pick those two up, expose Abelard and let him just shrug off thermonuclear missiles lole it's nothing

When there are more then two enemies adjecent to a character they gain "melee superiority" bonus to attack and damage

There is a perk that nullifies that

Nah that never happens to me, my tactic is to usually dig in behind a good set of cover and let them come to me

Naturally that means I've outfitted everyone on my party with either a Las-Gun or the Autocarbine (If you're Pasqual or Abelard)

Argenta keeps her bolter because whenever it does work that's mega damage

And my RT (Yuki) gets a Long Las
