After about two days of playing Village Story, I am less impressed than I was to begin with.

The tedium was fresh to start with but it only got deeper and deeper with layer upon layer of tedium and grind.

I am surprised they never added shitting to the game, given how tedious they made satiation.

If you eat mostly meat your shit is too acidic for composting with but it also stinks and can lower your mood if too close to your home, but you can make a sewage drainage system to filter it away, but that can compromise the integrity of your drinking water if you're draining into the lake you drink from" ...levels of tedium

Hell. Save that moment in a separate save to return to in the event you get tired and just want to finish the story and achievement hunt later.

Then it changes the ending based on your exploration and achievements

On the one hand, people can't withdraw...this adds stability to the coin but it's also a scam because it can not be withdrawn. On the other, the game accepts the crypto as payment for shit, the developers can argue the game isn't a crypto scam because you can't buy or sell crypto with it - When in fact they're just changing the currency from crypto to represent some currency in the game.

The whole thing looks like a ponzi scheme using the game as a crutch to avoid the legal ramifications of being just that.

The app itself is a clicker.

It has dailies to do to get more crypto, but it's basically a clicker game already.

The developers look like they're trying to translate that clicker into a larger IP...but that might not even exist. The whole campaign may very well be fake to draw attention to the app.
