I mean, the scenario is railroaded, but the individual routes through it, and the end results, are pretty damned varied.

Still, even if 2 dialogue options result in a similar outcome they can allow you to define your character. Whether you respond friendly or in a hostile manner etc.

BG3 is definitely a game that allows for a lot of unique outcomes and also has those character defining moments

Like Dark Urge moments
||after killing Alfira you can try to hide the body, blame Astarion or admit that it was you||

Outcome is pretty much the same, party moves on but it's a moment that defines the character you are playing

Compare that to 3 dialogue options that result in the same outcome as in your character says the same damn thing

If 3 dialogue options have the same result and provide no gameplay/story/role-playing value then they are a worthless filler that shouldn't be there bc its just a waste of time

The actual story of the game has a time limit. The events unfold on the station inside of a window of time, whether you're helping them along or not. Some events are more conclusive than others.

Don't help control the thermal shields, the station burns up.
Don't help prevent the station sinking out of orbit, the station burns up.
Don't help prevent the spread of a virus, the station becomes infected and eventually systems fail to a degree any number of problems result in, the station burns up.

I still had some fun with the game, i wont go back to it, but I had some fun at the time

Speaking of war table, didn't you had to use one of the resources you get from side quests to progress some of the events? I remember that vaguely, but if im correct then you had to do at least some side quests to progress the main story

The game does have problems, like a lack of evil options, but the gameplay is fun af and story is damn good after the first few hours (which basically describes every Dragon Age, lol)

You can build a really kickass town just outside the N gate of Sepermeru -- it's fantastic for thralling, and is close to good resources and farmable dungeons.

Any time I land on a public server, I go for that site if it's available. (And if it's not, it can be...)

Can't build stations off foundations on official though. Very restrictive environment. No town setups, no camps, etc.

Before Age of Sorcery, pets were actually preferred companions -- specifically greater rhinos (fantastic trample ability at the time with multihit), frost wolves (2nd highest DPS + sunder ability) and sabertooths (highest DPS, no sunder).

Everything else except a god-roll Teimos was inferior. But Age of Sorcery shook it up and gave the crown to some Dafari for a bit, then finally back to 'zerkers.

Just finished AC6's True Ending and I gotta say, the Laser Lance and Pile Bunker makes for one hell of a combo. It turned the game into a horror movie for a lot of enemies especially AC bosses lmao

Ya know what’s funny is revisiting the first stage again after starting NG+, at first I thought it was gonna be as terrifying as the first time but for some reason everything felt too natural slicing through the enemy and the boss with ease. It all felt like grinding Operation Wallclimber for the 50th time.
