When I used to work on indie mmo, the amount of new blood was a very real metric for success. It was a leg in the tripod that held the game up. You measured new players. You measured concurrent players and you measured player retention. If any of these metrics didn't hold steady, the entire system would collapse - So you had to adjust to feed one metric over others.

Eventually all games get stale and one of the metrics fails, but you hope it will be spread out. When it's not, the loss of one of these three metrics has a direct impact on the others.

The camera movements and mechanics for turning are tied to your characters physical ability to move. So if your char struggles to turn, camera struggles to turn.

Yeah that's how we used to take out Insurgent griefers back when I played GTAO, which was like half a decade ago to be fair.

I have a really annoying thing happening right now, wondering if anyone that plays SWTOR knows how to fix. I play at 1920X1080, normally. I switched from full screen to borderless windowed mode and the game went black. When I crashed the client to start over, my desktop has a blackbar on the bottom of it.

Nothing I've done gets rid of this bar.

Its like the game fucked my desktop scaling or resolution and changing them hasn't fixed it.
