God, i love how geralt can just walk all up in peoples home and such and steal whatever he wants no issue, yet if your within eyesight of gaurds in towns, the game warns you that theyll attack you.

How is the game? I've heard it's pretty good aside from a a couple of things

The developers hadn't finished the Multi-char infrastructure on launch and told players ahead of time. They are still adding those elements. Not sure server transfers will become a thing, but I know paid cosmetics and battlepasses will be account bound, not char bound soon.

They anticipate this to be complete in a week or two, somewhere around the start of august

They implements the multi-char incomplete on day one because it was killing the launch due to people wanting to play with friends and servers filling so fast

The multi char allowed people to open a char on any server

I don't think they'll be allowing server transfers, more broadly because your characters progress is tied to seasonal events and not every server is at the same point of the seasonal events at the same time.

They may have a window of opportunity to switch servers between seasons though. Not sure what their plans are on that end.

I find the game very fun. It's not scary, but it makes me nervous for no good reason. I enjoy driving the motorcycle, combat is punchy, skills are a little OP...PVP would be a shitshow I'm sure. I picked a PVE server.

They do a decent job with the unknown elements introduced in the game. A ton of variety.

Today I went into a hospital and found a dead woman on the ground before pills...Apparently she was gathering meds for a nearby person who was injured and a deviant got to her. She died of starvation. The deviant got me and pulled me into another dimension which was a puzzle I had to solve to escape it....

When I escaped, the deviant revealed itself and I was able to capture it

The puzzle was such that one could be lost inside of the dimension forever, while their body withered away where they were captured from

It feels like the bastard child of the game Control and the MMO The Secret World

Some players run loud. I prefer stealth for the most part. The game makes both gameplay options engaging.

...and I'm usually fine until some loud mudder trucker decides to roll in on my scouting

I think I got as far as going through the first metro, so I've finally got some of my augmentations back lol. I've mostly been exploring, selling weapons, trading neo for Intel, beating people up and throwing them off of buildings. xD

I snuck into that building by Adam's apartment, the one with the woman that trades in fake IDs. Killed the guards with a police drone after agroing them with a car alarm, then set off the mines with boxes. 😂

If you talk with the police girl who is near that place, and you have done the thing with the illegal permit, she Will say its about time to deal things with him, and help you take him down

Sometimes it can be a maze, navigating through the different places

Specially the sewers, i recommend you get the augmented vision upgrade before venturing inside those, they're insanely dark

And there's no flashlight, you'll have to rely on that vision aug for the sewers
