It's tedious building with enemies that from the hop can 2 shot you in the noob zone and at no point did any leveling feel like it handled them any better. Leveling everything takes forever and the arguments being made to favor this metric sound pretentious at best. The developers are nice enough though.
Players may not be communicating with me much, but they are relatively nice unless you are sitting on or near an ore they built their home around farming.
If I had my money back, I wouldn't buy this game right now mostly because they initially plan on making this game a subscription game on launch and this test phase is only a year long (approx). Right now the only thing keeping me playing is the sunk cost fallacy I am feeling for having ever bought it.
This game is a powder keg by design, especially as a "social mmo". It's not a social mmo. It's a sandbox with player trade that doesn't work yet.

my usual pattern goes, skeleton bomb, guides it way in, kills something weak, that makes a corpse i use tendrils on, pulls EVERYTHING nearby into a centerpoint, then i used corpslosion while everythings piled.
Thng is with my other build i have 2 uniques. 1 makes it so when i use a corpse, it spawns a skeleton that tracks and chases an enemy then explodes for like 50% more dmg, AND another that uses MULTIPLE corpses at once and fuses all the damage into ONE skeleton that seeks enemies out doing another likw 130% +/x (idk) damage. so much synergy its unreal
so essentially i have homing seeking nukes xD

It will first partner you with other players queud up, but if there aren't enough, empty slots get filled with NPC
